I’ve finally found my coffee! ☕
I think I’ve finally found my favourite coffee! The beans have a really nice aroma and a rich, smooth flavour. It makes a great cup of coffee and has quickly become one of my favourites. I’ll definitely be buying this coffee again.

All day coffee beans
For the price the quality is very good. It has a nice aroma, gives a little crema and is not too bitter. We have now started ordering this for the work office as we have several coffee drinkers. None of whom have complained. It comes in at a lower price than most of the other brands but probably isn't as strong as some of the others... probably a good thing as there are some people who have several cups of this a day. These beans are great for something all day, but if you want something really strong to wake you up then these aren't what you are looking for.

Very acidic. Good morning coffee and better in a cafetiere
I love my coffee and i'll always grind fresh at most doing a batch to last a day or so amd keeping it sealed. It's not cheap buying coffee beans soni decided to give these a try as the price was so tempting. This is a 1kg bag of 100% Arabica beans. The bag is foil lined with the usual pressure valve at the top to avoid the bag popping. The beans are rainforrest alliance certified so both peoples rights and the forrest are treated with respect. They do also state on the bag that the beans are sourced from several countries, but are roasted and packed in Belgium. If they are good quality beans you will smell the coffee in the bag before opening, not so in this case. The beans are sourced from multiple countries rather than single source which is a bit disapointing. Single source beans always have a better flavour profile and also give a reliable expectation. E.g. South america will be rich and fruity, asia and africa more acidic. These make a very acidic brew soni would presume the latter.I like to brew an espresso for new beans to get a full impression of the flavour and oil content. This gives a very thin almost no creme layer, so not much oil to the beans (milder, drier flavour), it brews a black rather than brown (medium to dark roasted beans).Taste wise this is very acidic. Piping hot the flavour is quite neutral and not really much of anything, let it cool a bit and it's smooth, very smooth, but also the high acidity comes through. There's not really any dominant flavour notes or aromas that i pick up, maybe a very mild chocolate or nut. Unfortunately the acidity overwhelms the palette thr cooler it gets. This has been roasted to a pleasant level (3/5), there's no taste of burnt coffee, but i think a heavier roasting would help reduce the acid and bring out more of the flavour.Because this is much more acidic than i would normally drink i think i'll have this as a morning coffee (to help get things moving). I'd also recommend brewing in a cafetiere rather than espresso. The ussual 1 tablespoon + 1 spoon per cup.Overall a bargain option for coffee beans and will definitely wake you up. But if you don't like acidic coffee and prefer a rich flavour profile steer clear. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Good quality at a great price
These coffee beans have become a firm favorite in my household, not only because the price is reasonable (it does go up and down by a few pounds each time I order) but because it is consistently such a good flavour. It always arrives quickly and tastes really fresh. The 1KG size means there is plenty for everyone in the household as my Ninja coffee machine is constantly in use. It is especially great in iced coffee which is a very popular morning beverage in my household. Great coffee at a great price. This is definitely my go to for the foreseeable future.

By far the best coffee beans
It doesn’t matter how many different beans I try I always come back to this. Smells absolutely amazing, the taste is great whether it’s hot or iced lattes. You won’t be disappointed

Good but nothing special
Smooth, mild flavour and easy to drink. Not very rich or complex, but works well for daily use. Good value for the price.

Lovely coffee- pleasantly surprised
I’m not a lover of strong coffee so I took a chance when buying a kilo of this before ever trying it -Historically I liked Arabica coffee so decided to buy it, but it was a pleasant surprise when I did try it and is actually very nice!I use 20grms of beans for a 350ml cup and the strength is spot on for me.

Perfectly drinkable, but not Amazon’s best coffee
This is a perfectly acceptable everyday coffee, especially if you want a large 1kg bag without spending too much. It has a fairly smooth, balanced flavour and works well enough in a bean-to-cup machine. That said, I have tried several of Amazon’s other own-brand coffee beans and found most of them nicer than this House Blend. The flavour is a little plain and does not have the same richness or character, although there is nothing particularly unpleasant about it.It is fine for regular cups of coffee and offers reasonable value, but I probably would not choose this one first if the other Amazon varieties were available.
