Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Facial Mask w Songyi Mushroom 4 oz

I love this. I love the smell. I love how it leaves my skin. It feels real good when I take it off.

This stuff burned my face. I'm always looking for new mud masks so I bought some of this a few weeks ago and only just got a chance to to try it. The texture and smell was lovely so my hopes were high, but only a minute after I finished putting it on my face it started tingling really badly until it started to HURT. I've used tons of masks so I know the difference between good tingles and bad tingles and this was BAD.I wiped it off as quickly as I could and my face was bright red and irritated after only having it on for a minute. It might even be an allergic reaction of some sort. I put some ice on my face because my skin felt hot afterwards and that seemed to help a bit. Worst mud I've used yet and I recommend that everyone just stay far FAR away from this stuff.

It's not a bad product but a bit too drying for my skin. I have very dry skin so I guess a clay-like mask was probably not a good idea. I did not feel any burning or discomfort though.

Really like this mask. If you've had Peels in the past the sting is not much to get over. For sensitive skin I would not recommend as it does burn a bit, but I really like this and feels like it does a great job at softening my skin & trouble spots. For your first time using do not pile in thick as that will increase stinging. Use only very light thin spread at first. Best mask I've used in a while!

I wound up throwing away a majority of this facial mask. I usually love Shea Moisture products and I chose to buy this based on a small packet I had purchased at the store. The mask is contained in plastic, which while I have my own reservations about that, it seems to be common now a days. The mask itself was very oily. It appeared that maybe I had been shipped one that sat on the shelf too long? I am unsure but it did not apply to my face as a mask would nor did I feel the initial tingling feeling like I did with the sample packet. Just overall was not satisfied and wound up purchasing other facial mask products.

WONDERFUL!!!!! I used to but masks all the time now I just make three different ones to use on my face, and body from turmeric, dry milk, or raw egg. However I had to test this since I love the Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus line. Did not dissappoint very thick yet creamy in texture, smells good, cracks in small dusty bits when it dries, so my avdice don't cook, or eat in the mask unless you want dried bits of mask in your food/on your clothing etc. All in all it drew out the impurities from my face, and brightened any discoloration from sun exposure.

I had to wash this mask off VERY quickly and frantically. It started burning and there was a smell like Nair/hair melting off. When I removed the mask my face was bright red and swollen in a few places where the mask was. Not trying again.

This mask was a pleasant surprise. It smells wonderful and for such a low cost, works as well as many high end masks. I will continue to purchase. Definitely deep cleans and give radiance the next day when I use night before.
