Fits perfectly on a Mazda 2
These cords were the perfect length for my rear shelf on my 2014 Mazda2. I pulled about 2 inches through the ball and pushed in the plug. Works great.

Accidentally broke one string...
I went to my VW dealer for an oil change. I said, "Oh, BTW, I need one new shelf string for the privacy cover in the back. Can you tell me how much it costs? " She comes back to me a while later, as I'm sitting in the waiting area. "$82.00. Shall we put that on for you?""Nope".That's some serious rip-off, VW. Nothing makes it more abundantly clear than charging $82.00 for a piece of string.These are actually better quality than the OEM strings. Go figure.

It didn’t work how it should have in my mind. It was elastic and it took a while to get it the proper length. The elastic snapped under the weight of the shelf, so then I re adjusted the length by the center cord, and that seems to be working okay.It does work however, so it’s not a terrible product.
