Is this puzzle only solved once or are there other ways to solve it?

The puzzle solved once, but can be reset for other players

Do you have to solve the puzzle to put a money or gift card in?

Yes you do. The puzzle comes locked.

Why was i sent an obviously used clue box? the outer box is ripped and torn. i did not order used.

I had an identical issue with another box from this company. Mine had writing on the puzzle and the “prize” was missing from the prize chamber.

How hard is it to open? I'd like to add a giftcard without getting a headache.

If you check YouTube, they have a video that may assist you in opening the Cluebox easier.
