Comparing 31 and 61 chipset

Don't go by brand name
I had Gigabyte GA-H81M-S motherboard. 7 years old but not used much at all because my dad was using it. The USB ports were many times underperforming. Win7 was always slow in it. Bios was also not coming up sometimes needing reset. Few days back it crashed because motherboard had burnt. Some components went bad simply by age and not much usage. When powering mobo ON without CPU, it overloads SMPS and smoke comes off the SMPS wires. Expected this expensive brand mobo to easily last above 10 years. But nowday most mobos have limited life and are non repairable.

Calidad gigabyte
Una motherboard con lo necesario y ofrece buenas cosas por su precio, el único inconveniente es que no cuenta con USB 3.0 frontal, pero si en la parte trasera, tampoco tiene HDMI, esos serían sus problemas más graves ya que por lo demás es excelente, se nota su gran construcción y con lo necesario para hacer un buen equipo para gaming de entrada.

Buena relación calidad/precio
Placa base compacta y a buen precio para procesadores de Socket 1150 (Los nuevos Hasswell de Intel), perfecta para mi I5-4570 3,2GHz. Excelente rendimiento bajo Windows 8.1 con 4 GB de RAM.Destacar que sólo trae 2 USB 3.0 traseros por lo que echo en falta un USB 3.0 en placa para así aprovechar el USB frontal de la caja y NO incluye sonido 5.1.

Excelente precio para salir de un apuro.
Necesitaba un reemplazo económico para una motherboard Asus que se murió de un día para otro y las gigabyte nunca me han fallado.Es una buena tarjeta pero carece de USB 3.0 frontal y salida HDMI, sin embargo, por menos de $1000 servirá mientras considero hacerme de una mejor.
