Solid steel which will cut
Basically everything it should be: sharp, relatively rigid, and effective. Not sure why people want a "lightweight" saw which would bend and flex and not cut well - this is a solid piece of steel which cuts with ease if you have the strength and angle. I've used on live oak, drake elm, crepe myrtle and scrub and it has been very effective.

Super sharp and efficient
Many years ago I bought the best pruning saw ever (pre-Amazon). I used it for years and years until the handle broke. We tried to fix it but nothing worked. Well, I just found it on Amazon and had to buy it! I am SO happy to have found it again after trying many others that looked similar but we’re far from my old favorite. This saw is amazing. It cuts through white pines of 6-8” trunk diameter like butter! It has teeth that cut in both a forward or backward stroke so it’s super efficient. I saved the cardboard “sheath” that it came in for protection for the saw & myself. I can use this saw one handed it is so easy & I’m no spring chicken. I can’t recommend this saw enough it makes pruning a joy.

Cuts branches easily
I bought this to trim the trees around my yard. It is really light weight but it works amazingly well. It cuts through small limbs 3 to 4 inches in diameter with ease. The handle is shaped to help with not getting hand fatigue or hurting as some handles do. It makes quick work to remove small limbs out of the way.

Incredibly sharp, light and makes quick work of branches and small trees
I finally used this today, and it's unbelievably good. It must be the sharpest anything I've ever owned. I got sick of jerking around with chainsaws and just went simple. You can one hand pretty big branches and trees up to probably 3 inches comfortably. I'm suburban so I have the usual suburban usages. I am so happy with this item, you should buy one.

I Love This Saw!
Great pruning saw! We recently had a ton of tree damage from a big ice storm. I used this saw, along with its big brother, the 18" Corona pruning saw, to do all the work. That's right---instead of chain saws. No oil, no gas, no mess, no lost fingers.I used the bigger saw only when absolutely necessary because this one's light weight and maneuverability made it such a joy to use. Very sharp and cuts like the devil. I wish it included a sheath, but I made do with the cardboard casing it came in. Highly recommended!

My go-to handsaw for over 20 years.
This product has seen some design changes over the years, but its current style is worthy of keeping. You need a good scabbard to protect the teeth when not in use. I have used this saw in my arborist business for over 35 years. There are more expensive professional hand saws, but you can spend double the money and only get 5% increase in durability and performance. I've chosen to stay with this one. There's also a smaller folding version that does not need a scabbard. Wear a leather glove on the hand you are not holding the saw with. This saw is made for cutting wood, and it will have no difficulty cutting into your hand.

Cuts branches like butter
It's easy to use, super sharp and keeps its sharpness for a long time. You should get the scabbard for it, because it's so sharp.
