Product Description The closest you'll get to a traditional bed without actually buying one, the Intex Air-Flow queen airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. The top and sides of the bed are constructed with a special network of interconnected air cells that cause the air to flow smoothly and gradually across the sleeping surface. The unique engineering creates a luxurious sleeping surface that's comfortable and stable--a dramatic departure from many other inflatable beds. The mattress is also equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge waterproof flocked top with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom for stability. And best of all, the Air-Flow mattress is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere 3-1/2 minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button. The Air-Flow is raised 20 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses. And at 60 by 20 by 80 inches (W x H x D), the mattress is an official queen size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Air-Flow queen bed--which offers a capacity of 600 pounds--is a terrific choice whether you're sleeping at the in-law's overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. The mattress comes with an AC power cord and a carry bag (for storage). Regarding Inflation: Measurements will vary based on the manner in which it is inflated and packaging disclaims “approximate size”. Airbeds are measured from the widest point including the beams (bulges) on the side and off the tallest point from the floor including built-in pillows if applicable. Location, temperature, and humidity will affect the airbed’s firmness. Airbeds will need to be occasionally re-inflated (topped off) to maintain desired firmness when used for more than a few days as vinyl tends to relax over time. .com The closest you'll get to a traditional bed without actually buying one, the Intex Air-Flow queen airbed is ideal for travelers who want the comforts of a bed but the convenience of a blow-up mattress. BEST EVER!!!
This is our 2nd one like this. Our first one lasted almost 3 years, using it all the time. For months at a time.We highly recommend this style. I make it just like a bed with mattress cover & I do stick a sleeping back ontop first then the mattress cover, then sheets & blanket. We love it for camping & extra guest! If I could afford another one I would in a heart beat! It's just that good.Everyone ask what kind to get! THIS IS THE ONE.After the other died - we ordered one thinking it was the same -slept on one night, and returned the next day! Hated it.This product holds air perfect! One can set on side of bed withoutfilling like your hitting ground! We are 2 big people 6' and 6'3 and fit the queen with a bulldog in themiddle! Cozy and if one rolls the other isn't moving!

Terrible product. Was good for the first 4 or ...
Terrible product. Was good for the first 4 or 5 guest visits and than it started to develop a 'bulge' on the top (like another reviewer posted pictures of). You may think, oh its just a bulge and it will push down, but its actually uncomfortable to try and lay on it. Now it is developing a bulge on the side. I suspect most people will have this same issue after several uses by guests (as that is what most of us buy these things for). Intex has NO warranty either (30day is ridiculous). Don't trust the reviews, I think most people post them too soon with little to no use of this product. Stay away from Intex, buy a brand that has a better warranty/reputation.

Hard to believe
This is really hard to believe. An air mattress that lasts more than 6 months without losing air through a small hole that can't be located. This air mattress lasted 18 months and just the other day it began it's demise. I have had at least 12 of these mattresses over the last 10 years. Due to back problems I need to be able to adjust the firmness so air is the only way for me to go. The price of this mattress was very reasonable.

When it works very comfortable - Not as good as expected
When this bed is holding air properly it is a dream for sleeping. Some how I expected this bed to last longer than a few short months. This bed is used in a room exclusively as the only bed. The design is very nice because queen fitted sheets can be used on the lower sheet so there is not a problem with the sheet constantly being lose like with other air beds. But for some reason these beds seem to develop a slow leak that can not be located and it gets worse and worse. The one before this lasted about six months and I thought the problem was that I might have done something wrong in moving the bed and purchased another one. However, this one lasted fewer months than the other one. Because I am living in temporary housing where I may move at a short notice I really didn't want to purchase a conventional bed. However, I have now had to give up and buy a conventional mattress with bed frame. I read the hints from other owners on how to keep the value from leaking but that did not help in this situation.

Great value and has held it's firmness for 30 days now!
Purchased this so my poor husband would have something to sleep on while we transition from our home of 33 years to our new home 2 states away. He set it up on Dec 14th and it has stayed inflated with no loss of air. Even when my husband joined me for Christmas at our new home for 12 days, the mattress was in a minimally heated house, and it was still inflated to the same firmness as when he left. I slept on it for 5 nights and must say I was very comfortable and my regular bed is a Sleep Number! The mattress itself is flocked so the sheets don't slip off; there is room between the upper and lower chambers to tuck in the sheets or even a blanket; the corners have a deeper recess than the sides, so I used the two corners at the foot to anchor a thermal blanket and the top sheet so the comforter, blanket and sheet all stayed in place all night. The air pump is recessed so there is nothing to jam a toe into or whack your shin with in the dark and either end of the mattress can be pushed up to a wall. It is sturdy too, we both sleep on it and that is over 450 lbs. and no air loss! This would be great for company (adults or kids) or even as a full time bed for someone on a tight budget or that moves frequently (easy setup and easy teardown); and if you like camping but hate sleeping on the ground or on those little cots you wouldn't even need an inverter to inflate it if you vehicle has a 120v ac outlet.

Staying power (Purchased on March 13, 2010)
I was going through my past purchases, trying to improve my Amazon recommendations (they were getting weird) when I landed on this past purchase. I realized how long we've been using this bed and figured I should probably share my experience. As stated in the title, I bought this bed in March of 2010. Since then we've used it dozens of times (inflate, deflate, roll up, shove in closet, repeat). We used this bed when we moved and our regular mattress was still in the uHaul truck (on two separate occasions). It's no memory foam mattress, but every time I sleep on this thing I'm re-surprised at how not-terrible it is. My mom asks me every single time she comes to visit, "Is this the same mattress?" Yup.I read through some of the other reviews and will agree that it feels smaller than a traditional queen (but I've never come across an air mattress that measures up to its irl counterpart (new acronym I learned from my son: "In real life". Maybe he's playing too much minecraft?)Anyway, I highly recommend it for several reasons:1. Auto inflate (AWESOME)2. Auto deflate (AWESOME-ER)3. Hasn't leaked, cracked, deformed, or otherwise broken in almost 3 years of regular-use (I usually roll it up and put it away the way it's supposed to be stored, but I have on occasion just stuffed it in a closet).
