Justice League: The Complete Series

Been trying to get hold of this series for so many years. Warners seems to have a problem with releasing these kind of anime movies to Europe so I had to buy a region free DVD player so I could finally own the seriesCool in the gang!!! 😎

Its hugely entertaining and quite simply FUN. You don't need to be a fan of the comics to enjoy this as it stands up on its own. But if you know characters from the original comics there is still a lot to enjoy in these new interpretations of the classic characters. What the title of this set doesn't tell you is that the first half of the set is the complete Justice league series and the second half is the complete Justice League Unlimited series. Both series are tremendously entertaining and getting the two together just doubles the fun.

What a brilliantly written series. I first saw this way back in the early 2000's and just recently saw the chance to purchase the limited edition boxset of every episode of The Justice League and The Justice League Unlimited. For every enthusiastic comic book fan this boxset collection is an absolute must. This series definitely continued the standard set previously by the original Batman series of the early 90's and that is continued by some of the production team who work on todays "The Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes". Fantastic bargain and delivered 2 weeks earlier than predicted by Amazon, BRILLIANT.

Bought this for a Christmas gift, we knew that he wanted it and it's a good price.

I am still to watch all the episodes in this awesome series. For any fan of the DC universe and the justice league in general this is an essential buy.The dynamics between the main players is awesome and to my mind GL and flash's chemistry is so good they could have their own show.My only disappointment is the relationship between batman and wonder woman I suspect the producers or producer is batman bias and the attraction between them to my mind just doesn't work.The team as a fighting unit work well together but why why why doesn't the producers showcase superman in all his super power glory. To me there is just too much levelling out of his powers to match others. Apart from kryptonite and magic this guy should be unstoppable.However despite my two gripes I have to say this is an excellent purchase, you will not be disappointed and will be entertained for days.It will be awesome if one day Warner Bros decide to do another justice league series based on the New 52 where the Man of Steel is fully unleased.

Bought this to use on a multiregion dvd player and to my surprise plays perfectly OK on the Region 2 player on the computer and on my main DVD player with no 'wrong region' popup.All good fun and good to have the whole 4 seasons of the League to watch over and over.

Didn’t know that had a set of the whole series and when I found out about it I instantly bought one happy to finally watch the entire series again.

Ich habe diesen Artikel gekauft. Beim einlegen der DVD in meinen DVD-Player (habe es auch über die X-Box versucht) kam nur die Meldung, dass dieses Format in meiner Region nicht abspielbar ist. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass Abspielgeräte außerhalb den USA und Kanada dieses Format nicht kennen. Also an alle in Europa: kauft ja nicht diese DVD-Sammlung! Ich weiß nicht, warum es hier in Europa überhaupt angeboten wird. Habe im Internet gelesen, dass es wohl Hacker gibt, die das umgehen können, aber zu denen gehöre ich nicht. Habe die DVD-Sammlung umgehend zurückgeschickt. Hoffe die Rücknahme klappt. Sollte sie nicht klappen, dann schreibe ich eine weitere Rezension über den Verkäufer (der nicht Amazon ist), der offenbar etwas vertreibt, von dem er wissen müsste, dass es in Europa nicht verwendbar ist.Also Finger weg!

Ce commentaire fait suite à celui que j'ai laissé pour Superman The Animated Series que j'avais adoré.On a avec ce coffret l'intégrale de la série Justice League en dvd, quasiment introuvable en France. L'import se fait en une petite dizaine de jours et le coffret est arrivé en parfait état. C'est une boîte métallique composé de deux volumes (boîtes en plastique classiques). Au moment où j'écris ce commentaire, je n'ai pas encore terminé de visionner tous les épisodes, la série est longue (+ de 90 épisodes) notamment parce que les intrigues se situent sur plusieurs épisodes ce qui contribue à développer les histoires et les personnages. Pour un fan de l'univers DC comme moi c'est un pur plaisir.Mon lecteur n'a aucune difficulté à lire les épisodes. Je me dois de dire que toutes les saisons ne sont pas en français, et la présence de sous-titres n'est pas toujours garantie, ce n'est pas un problème pour moi car je préfère la VO en toutes circonstances. De plus l'anglais utilisé est parfaitement audible et facilement compréhensible donc même un niveau moyen en anglais peut largement s'en sortir, d'autant plus que les dessins accompagnent la compréhension.Bref, je m'égare, voici un très très beau coffret pour les nostalgiques ou personnes désirant découvrir le meilleur univers issus des comics books américains.
