Grizzly Industrial T25101-15" Benchtop English Wheel

Great tool for the price. Used it to straighten out some expensive panels on my Airstream. Would be better with a stand, but then where do you put it?

I do a lot of panel rust repair. This wheel is the perfect size for making small pieces. It's a lot quicker than using a stump and shot bag to form compound curves.Pros:Small. Doesn't take much room in my small shop.Increases my productivity.Reasonable price.Has 7 different forming wheels of various radius.Cons:The lower wheel support is pretty wobbly, but I fixed that by inserting a couple pieces of 22 ga metal shims to firm it up.The lower tension screw threads are not a real good match with the frame threads. Typical Chinese quality. But, it works when you get it under tension.The metal in the photo is 22 gauge steel. I was able to form that curve with about 10 minutes work rolling and checking fit. Don't think it would work too well with 18 ga, but I didn't test that.Bottom line is it does what it is intended to do - make small panels. If you want to make a complete hood or fender you'll need the $2500.00 tool.

In order to use this at all you need to made some modifications:1. Put strips of masking tape on all four sides of the lower wheel's support (the shiny thing that moves up and down). I found 2-3 pieces per side was sufficient to keep the support from moving side-to-side in the frame.2. Add a couple of rubber washers to the upper wheel. I used one between the forks and one outside of the forks. This will keep the upper wheel from wandering.3. Use super glue to attach the lower wheels to their axles. This isn't strictly necessary for using it, but will make you less likely to drop the axles on the floor when changing wheels.Long-term improvements (that I'll probably never get around to doing)1. Make a new lower support arm that actually fits the base.2. Make new axles for the lower wheels that are press-fit into place.3. Make a removable reinforcing bar that runs vertically to stiffen the frame when working with thicker metals. This will reduce the throat capacity, hence the need to make it removable.In short, you get what you paid for. Which is to say, you are getting an box of parts with which you can make a decent beginner's English wheel.

Although this was smaller than we expected, I believe it will do what we need it to do. It was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition.

I bought this unit because of it's size. I do not have much room in my shop for large tools, so I did not want a large floor mounted machine. Also I was mainly going to use it to repair dented motorcycle fenders, so I did not need a large machine for this. The size of the machine is perfect for the small projects, and does make it very easy to store. I was able to repair some dented fenders with it with a little practice. I do have two complaints about this machine. First the storage system for the dies does not hold them very well. As I used the machine, the dies would move around on the storage track, and start to fall, and when moving the machine they would fall off. Second, the machine has a lot, and I mean a LOT of flex. The frame would need a lot of reinforcement if you were going to do any thing more extreme them taking a small dent out of a thin sheet metal motorcycle fender.

Terrible. Lower arm has so much flop it won't track anywhere close to straight. So much flex and sloppiness in the whole thing. Scary to say this, but the harbor freight one is much better.

the English wheel has good dies but the fit and finish was less than good to much slop in the anvil and even worse on the lower die. you start to use it and it tracks off at an pressure. the frame work has to much give and its a whole lot smaller than expected . I kept the dies and scrapped the frame ill build one that will work with those dies with a tighter tolerance. the best part of the deal is it made it to my shop in a reasonable time

It works great! I got it 1 day early too.

Like I said this is going take practice ! I'm happy I got this one because I couldn't afford the big ones out there! But I will get big wheel after I feel more comfortable with using the wheel! It take time & practice!

This is a very basic english wheel. The alignment of the wheels was not perfect. Noticeable when you put the straight lower wheel up to the top straight wheel. Gap on one side on my unit anyway. It took a little adjustment to remedy this, but the price of the product is low enough so it is still worth it. I welded on extensions in the back so I can bolt it on to a wall and pivot it to the side when not being used. I think most of people buying this product would have the skills to fix the problems with the alignment. I would still recommend this product as the wheels them self are worth it.

Structure is not strong enough for 16gauge, had to add reinforcements, otherwise works good enough.

Use the lower wheels and build yourself a rack this ting isn't strong for 16 g and the upper Wheel is all loose.
