Bosch 6 kg Fully-Automatic Front Loading Washing Machine (WAB16161IN, White, Inbuilt Heater)

I am writing this review after using this product about six months.I must mention, it's biggest advantages, drum size of bosch 6 kg washing machine is equivalent to 7 or 7.5 kg of other make.It's easy to use, display shows overall time left to complate it's process.We have installed this product in backyard in close cabinet, we hardly notice any sound.Have no complaint about it's function or about quality outcome.Depends on mode you select the washing time set automatically, in our case its about 50 - 60 min, which is quite OK, It has quick mode, we never tried it.

Don't even think twice before buying any other brand. Best class product with no issues ever in past 3.5 years

Firstly product delivered to me as comitted only in a day and half after I placed my order also the next day Bosch representative gives a visit for demo and helps install the product precisely.This product Bosch washing machine is simply amazing. Gives a set perfect timing for washing of clothes automatically. Various functions for different types of clothes. Very easy to use machine. Built quality superb German technology.Finally the price at which I get the machine was the Icing on the cake.!Thanks to Amazon.😊

Update on 14th July - By far the worst customer care I've ever seen. Its 29th day now and the machine is still not repaired. I'm sick and tired of @BOSCH. No more updates from me. BOSCH S**KS and I lost all hope in getting this machine back to LIFE. Good Night. I'll arrange for this machines funeral tomorrow!Update on 6th July - After calling customer care, they are now giving a date of 12th July since the part has to come from abroad :) God only knows when can I start using this machine again. 4 weeks without a washing machine. Great going Bosch!---------------------First Update---------------------Update on 5th July - This is getting worse. Bosch service really su***. 18 days gone and the parts and not available. Service guys won't even give any update. Imagine the condition, even in a city like Bangalore. If you dont want to run from piller to post to get your 2 months old new washing machine repaired, avoid this purchase. I feel bad that I exchanged a 10 year old Videocon top loading one to buy this.---------------------Original Review---------------------Unfortunately, I had a chance to buy this product twice. The first order came defective (there was an issue with some sensor. the water continuously kept flowing during the installation) and I had to return it. The return process was smooth. After doing more research, since this one was one of the cheapest in the front loading washing machine and it was from a reputable company (i thought), I decided to give it one more chance. The installation went fine but within 2 months, the drum stopped rotating. The service guy found that the issue was with wiring and some chip and the whole unit needs replacement. Still waiting for 10 days and the parts are yet to come!Unless you want to do your own laundry once in a quarter for 10 days, don’t buy this.Also, the minimum time for your six KG wash is 2 hours 13 minutes as already noted by others. This is much more than the models from other vendors.

The media could not be loaded. Installation is taking a long time for me. So, I started using the machine on my own. Bosch has missed such an important detail to mention that you need to remove the knots I've shown in the video. Bosch, please attach atleast a sticker on the back so customers can know that without removing knots we should not use machine. My machine literally started walking on the floor due to extreme vibrations and also power got cut multiple times due to high load. I might have damaged something or someone else may also damage it, please include this vital information with a sticker on the back of your washing machine.

Just used once so far seems good. There is less vibration while draining compare to other products.The default pipe come with product is very small, it should be slight more also they should provide adapter which is going to tap.Technician guy charged 300 for me for the same, online it is available at 150Rs only.Also for pipe extender also chargeable which is add on 450 Rs.One thing you should make sure machine power cable need 16 Amps board without that u can not use the machine.That was another add on thing you need to consider while buying the machine.Thanks,AJ

Good Purchase.. writing this review after first few hoursYou need 15A plug point like Ac or Fridge.. I have currently managed with 100 rupees adaptor for demo purpose ..but I need to install a seperate wiring for this.300 rupees water adaptor will be required..I have also bought 800rs cover and 600rs descaling powder..Total cost of ownership 22600 (got 25 % discount)+1800 rs for addonswashing quality is top notch..I am seeing my towel in mint condition after many months..
