Not suitable for old (90's and before?) shopper bikes
Needs more in the description, notably that it is a 14mm axle (not suitable for older bikes such as shoppers and old folding bikes that need 3/8" axle, and therefore this won't fit, as I discovered). Also, is too wide for most old bikes front fork (didn't fit my 90mm spacing, so looks like it's more for >96mm newer bikes)TL;DR, don't buy if using on an older bike, or do the measurements first and ask questions if in doubt!

Solid seeming wheel (until 13 months later)
My 1993 mountain bike forks have only a 95mm gap and the wheel is 100mm. I wasn't confident I could bend high tensile steel while trying insert the wheel. I cut a wooden block 100mm wide and was able to force it between the forks pushing on it with my thumbs and pulling the forks with my fingers. That gave me the confidence to accept delivery and go ahead and try to fit it. Glad I did, it wasn't much effort to get it in and it looks and seems great. Very pleased with the wheel. Now thinking about buying a matching 26" Raleigh freewheel to complete the look.Update 13 months later:Unfortunately, though only riding on roads and cycle paths to work and back the cone/bearings have worn out. After some noises on one side the cone has pushed out and one or two bearings have rolled away somewhere into the night. The previous wheel (Shimano) had been on the bike since it was built in 1993, so lasted nearly 30 years. This new one lasted less than 18 months.I did also buy a new rear one soon after and on that one one of the spokes was so far into the rim it caused a puncture despite the tape. I ended up using two lots of tape because one was clearly not enough. I don't think I'll buy anything Raleigh in the future.2023 Update:The same problem again with front wheel on other side, clonking I can feel through the handlebars. That's 2 years of riding to work. A Raleigh wheel should last more than two years!

Good quality wheels
Good quality wheels, unfortunately I was trying to get some replacement wheels for a Doggyhut (the doggyhut supplier is being most unhelpful) and these sadly did not have the right type of bearings so I had to return them. The wheels were good quality and the service has been excellent
