not as easy as they look in videos but it is a cheap and cheerful type of deal. the cork pad has unstuck which happened quick considering i bearly use it. once u get the hang of it I'm sure u can potentially do some great stuff but there are better ones out there for more money. (steady cam pole)

Its great for the go pro
Its great for the go pro! Its not the best though and the result is not worth the price even when balanced perfectly! This brings me onto the other downside, the time it takes to setup!

Results are great and it's very enjoyable to use!
For a Panasonic GH4 it's a perfect match! The first time I balanced it, it took 5 minutes - which seemed like a long time, now it takes about a minute each time I mount the camera.I came to the Hague MMC from owning a Laing P-04S, after much research I concluded that the Laing was the best stabiliser / steadycam I could afford. Using the P-04S was a different matter, despite very careful balancing and weighting it is very sensitive to movement, it swings too much, and it's size and weight, for me, goes against it - I can't comfortably use it at all - mainly wrist ache, and also the weight / momentum makes any swing hard to stop once started. Once the ache starts, I have to pull my arm in and support some weight with my elbow on my chest - which then reduces the 'suspension' ability of the arm. The Laing I've realised is best suited to being supported by a 'vest' and it's built for heavy cameras (up to 15kgs); I've never used it since, it really isn't a good match for the GH4 or I suspect smaller dSLRs.I wish I'd come across the Hague MMC earlier!! - it's exactly what I wanted, vertical pans from ground to above head are incredible - just like from a a jib - cinematic! Also it's lightweight and compact, so I can pack and travel with it more often. Holding it forward - to include the arm's suspension ability, is fine. I enjoy using it, it's easy to control, and results are great - what more can I say!It still requires good operating practice, walking with bent knees, etc. If you need practice, walk around a garden holding a mug full with water!Oh and if the red logo puts you off, it easily peels off ;-)Yes I also saw other versions that are based on a similar design, in coloured metals, maybe even looking more 'engineered' etc, but having seen some youtube comparisons, and now having experience of the Hague I'd recommend it over other brands.

Never really got good shots out of this
Never really got good shots out of this. Sold it on eBay. Get an electronic gimble if you want steady shots.

however once that was sorted out all seems fine!
Purchased for a budding film maker teen. I know nothing about the various accessories for cameras. Teen had to get the ICT teacher at school to help balance the camera's weight as we couldn't decipher the instructions; however once that was sorted out all seems fine!

Steadycam on the cheap - almost..
I use this on my Panasonic GH4 and its baby brother the GH2. Lightweight and works like a dream. Take sometime to set up, but lots of video on YouTube to help.

Decent product - Could do with an accessory vest for periods of protracted filming.
This is a decent product which give good results, after some practace. I recently used it to film a wedding in Italy. Anticipating that my arms were going to get tired, I used iit in conjunction with a monopod with some modification to allow me to let the monopod take the weight when shooting stationary and lifting it off the floor to carefully move around the church etc.I am very surprised Hague does to sell an accessory vest support, or that type of thing for the unit. It would have helped no end with this and similar periods of protracted filming

My product overview of the Hague Steadicam MMC youtu.be/OB-LVqSyvnIWe are using with the Panasonic GH4 and X920 camera and it works well once you have calibrated the weight ratios and balance.
