1. Excellent protection. Easy to reach the Power button unlike what some reviews indicated.2. Straps are not an issue. I was initially wary about this design approach since I had the Amazon lighted case for Kindle, where the Kindle rests within the case.3. Loved the colour.4. Well worth the price. Have not felt the need to even consider the Amazon Paperwhite leather case.5. Only reason I have not rated 5 stars is because of a really unpleasant odour from the inner felt lining. I am hoping it will air out in due course.

When I bought my first kindle paperwhite (one of the best purchases I have ever made btw!) I got it this case but in black. It was a no-brainer that when my wife got herself a paperwhite to get the same case but in a more aesthetically pleasing color.This case has a nice strap that holds it closed when you are not using your kindle and then it holds the cover open when you are using your kindle. It has a tiny slot for holding a card if you want but I have never used it.The cover handles wear well (my original is over two years old and looks fantastic) and also keeps your kindle safe from wear and tear.Two. Thumbs. Up.

This case is not green, but more of a grandmotherly teal. Whatever, I'll get over the color. I thought I was getting a case that would automatically activate and deactivate the Kindle when I open and close it, but it turns out I just saw what I wanted to see and not what was actually written in the description. My fault!Now, to something useful. The hand-strap is a great idea, but it should be attached at a 45-degree angle. As it is, you have to bend your wrist at a right angle to keep the Kindle straight, and that starts to hurt very quickly.

I was looking for basic protection for my sons Kindle paperwhite at a reasonable price.The Kindle fits well in the cover, it has a built-in elastic strap to hold the cover closed when not in use and a built in hand strap inside the cover to make one-handed reading easier. The cover is not overly thick or heavy, I'm very happy with this purchase.

The saying around my house is, "If it's green, it's moms".With others in household having Kindles, mine is easy to spot.The large strap to hold the book is good, especially after you slip the big rubber band over to hold the covers back-to-back.This is so easy on the eyes. I have several eye problems and find this so soothing to read.

I really like this case! It fits my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. So far I've only been using this case for a few months, and it's holding up well. My only "complaint" is that the color is not accurately portrayed. It's quite a bit brighter than is pictured, but it's still pretty.

My Kindle Paperwhite fits in snugly and securely, and the case color is great. I will note that if you have small hands (like me) it's kind of a pain to turn pages with the same hand that is in the hand strap. My thumb is just not long enough. I was hoping to only need a single hand for both holding and navigating, but no go. This is not a product flaw or anything, just letting small-handed people know single-handing holding and page turning is but a pipe dream if you use the strap.

I wanted a case for my kindle e-reader, nothing fancy just something to keep the dust off. This was perfect and the price was perfect to. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to keep the dust off. Its nothing special for standing a kindle up or anything but I love it for my needs, and the elastic handle on the inside that I use to hold my kindle is a great feature. I can hold my kindle with the knowledge of knowing when my hand is in the strap its not going anywhere.

Although the color on the image looks a little like Teal but it is in fact a light Green color. Fits very nicely for my kindle but the flap on the inner side of the cover (where they have given you to hold it properly) is a little too thick and is slightly concerning that it may be putting a little it too much pressure on the screen on my kindle when i close it shut with the elasticated band. other than that its in fact a great cover and an ideal all round protection for your device (if you don't close it shut with the outer elasticated band!)

Had one of these covers for my 1st kindle. Nice green colour and feels high quality. Wasn't after a clever cover that switches kindle on and off, what I wanted and got was the strap you can use to hold the book with one hand, when the cover is folded behind. Useful when standing on trains and one hand needed to hold onto handle

Why 4 stars and not 5? It's pretty much perfect apart from the front/back gets scratched easily. It protects the Kindle Paperwhite like any case does, it's easy to put the Kindle inside, and the hand-strap on the inside comes in useful when commuting. It actually has a really nice texture, but if you're looking for a case that remains pristine on the outside this probably isn't the case for you. If you're looking for something that does its job to the letter (and need some support when reading on wobbly car/train journeys) get the Marware Atlas cover!

Lovely - colour, material; sturdy and therefore suitable for my handbags! Only very slight criticism - the diagonal elastic bands holding the kindle in place were very stiff so it was tricky getting the kindle in. As with most elastic (albeit fabric inter-woven in this case) it's bound to get brittle or lose elasticity over time. I just hope it's over a long time as I love the cover.

Just received this cover. Lovely colour but do not like the elastic bits and notice that you have to switch the kindle on and off as it does not fit close too. Rather disappointed.
