Canadian Rock Gods
Didnt even know this disc existed until i was trawling thru a fan website, picked it up immediately. This i believe has a superior track listing to the official live disc 'Stages'This disc manages to encapsulate Triumph in their heavy rock heyday (1976 to 1981) and is recorded in Cleveland Ohio 1981.Opening with the manic 'Tear The Roof Off' then into 'American Girls' Triumph are off and running, their Heavy Metal credentials on show for everyone. The classics are all here: 'Lay It On The Line/Fight The Good Fight/Hot Time In The City.Classic album tracks in Blinding Light Show/Moonchild,storming versions of 'Natures Child/I live For The Weekend along with barnstorming versions of 'Rock N Roll, Machine and 'Rocky Mountain Way'The sound is bit rough at times, almost official bootleg quality and of course Triumphs showmanship extends to unneccessary solo spots, dont let that put you off this is far better than 'Stages'
