Works well
Have used this shock for years and does the job well. we have a 15x30 saltwater pool. I use one bag weekly as maintanace during regular use. I use 2 bags for after heavy use like a party or suspected algae contamination or outbreak.

Worked well!
I had slight algae in my 21000 gallon saltwater fiberglass pool for a few days. I brushed and stirred up the algae and added 4 packs of this as directed and ran the pump all night. In the next morning most of the algae was gone. I vacuumed the remaining to waste and when I backwashed the filter a ton of green water came out so looks like it did bind to the algae and remove it. In hindsight I probably should have set the filter to recirculate and then vacuumed it all out to waste to avoid it going into the filter media.
