European Royal Family Tree Poster 24x36"

Teaching European history, it’s easy to get lost as to who belongs to whom and at what time. This really helps sort things out. Quality poster!

I'm doing some genealogical research, and am finding that my family has roots all over the place in the way-back world of European royalty. I was looking for a way to visualize and organize the pile-of-spaghetti that was all of these lines and connections. This chart is exactly what I needed. It shows the family lines of the major, and some less major, houses, and who and how they all intermarried in a clear and visual way. The chart is exactly what I was expecting. It came quickly and safely. It is a nice quality, both materials and esthetics.

This is a pretty neat chart. I got it for my husband, a medievalist, as a gift. He likes it. Even I had fun looking at the long and complicated history of monarchy and how intertwined it is. It is a great visual and fun to look at.

12/05/2015 updateI received my new and improved poster, with many changes (including Henry VIII's wives corrected) and I am pleased that the author corrected it.I give this poster a 10 out of 10. I have framed it and spent several hours reviewing it. Love the way it is formatted with the countries in different colors and the time frame is kept even while the different family lines are descending.Just fantastic! It is a must if you watch historical television or read such - and it shows the importance of the monarchy keeping relations with other countries good through marriage to make alliances.For me, the historical and patriotic significance charted in this poster - shows the royal families history and makes you think of the contributions to political, cultural and religious developments in world history.

I study European history especially English monarchs so this has been so helpful in learning about them.

So much information and very helpful if you are tracing your family roots. It took me a bit to find a frame for this size but once framed looks beautiful hanging.

This is a hoot to look up and reference for all the fun english shows out there that reference previous unknown generations and stuff.

I gave this as a gift and it was a big hit
