Quality product from Stellar as expected. Looks very classy on the hob.Just to contradict some of the previous comments we have an induction hob and the handle does not get hot at all!! Not sure if this is different for gas!!The Whistle does get hot but I still manage to remove it quickly without using a tea towel!!Obviously the only disadvantage with all these hob top kettles is it is difficult to measure the amount of water required for each use but I guess this comes with experience!!In conclusion, a beautifully built kettle and certainly worth the money for the looks and the quality!!

I have to update my review and change it from 5 starts to 1 star, this kettle has got really yellow rusted and it's not even two years that I have been using it!!! This shows that the stainless steel quality wasn't so good. I have stainless steel pans that I have been using for 7 years and they are as good as new, this is a shame.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have this kettle for a few weeks now. Absolutely love it!!!!No plastic, healthy and very stylish. Comes to boil really quickly and I swear tea tastes a lot better!! Impressed.The whistle is loud, but pleasant. If you don't let it boil after you heard the whistle, the handle and the whistle will not get crazy hot, but always be careful, better using a cloth.

Bought this kettle because it’s completely stainless steel and no plastic parts. Loud whistle, so you can’t forget you put it on! Style of handle means you can easily hold it with both hands if you need to.

After a succession of failed electric kettles I went back to a stove one. This kettle looked like it fitted the bill and it does. Quite heavy it's difficult at first to gauge how much water is in it but your get used to that. I don't use the whistle as I find the noise annoying and it's very hot to remove - I suggest a non-conductive tip would improve the whistle's design and functionality.

So excited to have bought this gorgeous kettle! The whistling is great and very noticeable and the water is just at the right temperature. Feels and looks durable and oozes class! I am in love with all things stellar now and so glad I added this perfect kettle into the equation! A must buy!!

Classy and well made

Bought this very stylish kettle to replace my old electric one, loved it when it came it is very smart. Downside is that the handle and whistle get very hot, when it boils you need to take off the whistle with a cloth then hold the handle with a cloth to pour the water out. Found this very disappointing, it could be very dangerous to anyone who is not aware of it.

Over the moon with this purchase, fantastic kettle. The whistle is a great - nice soft tone (my old aga kettle used to hurt my ears!) Would recommend it highly. Fast efficient service and delivery
