Heavy Cotton Ektorp Sofa Cover Compatible with IKEA Ektorp 3 Seat Slipcover

It's fine! It's about as nice as the original slipcover. It's not luxury or anything, but it's... fine. Stretching it over the chair is kind of tough, but that's how ALL of these slipcovers are. It has to be that way for a good fit. Fabric is soft and comfy. In the end I'm happy, and I will be ordering the larger version for the couch.

I was nervous to order a replacement cover for my Ektorp sofa. Would it be good quality, will the color be ok and most of all will it fit. I am thrilled with how high quality it is and also how easy it was to put on. The color was exactly as described and the slight pattern should hold up well with pets. My sofa looks brand new and I couldn’t be happier.

We have a vacation rental and I got bored with the IKEA beige color slipcover. I wanted a lighter grey than what IKEA's own offering is and yet something that fits perfectly, not slumpy. The color was fantastic and has a bit of a tweed to it. About half the darkness of IKEAS gray. I actually left the beige original slipcover seat and back covers on and put the new covers over them just to be sure I had a nice tailored fit. WOW - they fit like a glove. Absolutely love the quality and the fit. I haven't washed them yet which is the true test for us since guests are not the neatest but material is polyester and I think they will wash just fine. Sorry no pics right now but will edit sometime in the future when I do get pictures.

I ordered the dark grey cover for my Ektorp couch that I had bought second hand which came with a white cover. Since I have dogs I wanted a darker color. The back cushions went on just fine. The seat cushions were a struggle and did not fit (see photo). I also tried to put on the main cover for the entire sofa and it was short several inches to reach across the entire sofa. So many people reviewed it fit great (as a whole) so either this particular color is not the right measurement or I have a bigger version of the couch that I don’t know that exists 😅.

Edit - from four to five stars after two months we are very happy with these items. We purchased replacement covers for our Ektorp loveseat, chair and ottoman. I love them even though the fabric is a bit weird. I expected it to be less shiny and more flaxy. I don't hate it, but it is very shiny and a little slick. It looks to me like a shiny chambray. It's not deep grey and it doesn't resemble the close up photo of the fabric. We got this cover to replace the Jonsbodo blue Ektorp cover, which we loved and was amazing for many years. I will say that I do like this cover too and it appears to be very well made. It looks very similar to the Jonsboda fabric from a distance, which is odd as we were expecting grey. It is not too big or wrinkly, it's a perfect fit and very easy to get on. Wish this company offered some fun colors and prints. I would recommend this item.

This is a great slipcover if you have an ektorp sofa but don't live near an ikea and if they don't deliver to you. The white is a true white, not cream or off-white. It's that similar canvas-like material as the ikea slipcover, but not quite as thick as the ikea one. The large piece that goes over the sofa frame is a bit tight, especially on the arms, and easily rips unless you put it on slowly and carefully. The best thing about this product is the covers for the 6 cushions has much more slack than the ikea cover. The ikea cover was so tight over the cushions that it made them not very comfortable to sit on, and this product gives the cushions more room to expand in the covers, making a much comfier sofa.

Love these covers so much, they look fantastic and they’re way easier to get on than the IKEA originals. With the slight pattern, I expect they’ll hide dog fur and smaller stains. They seem sturdy too. I might take off half a star just because they’re not machine washable (dry clean only). BUT I initially got another cover off Amazon (MASWOND) because it was machine washable and that was a huge mistake - that one looked terrible within seconds, showing every dog hair and even a drop of water left a lasting stain. It was horrible to get onto the couch and a zipper broke immediately. Note on these covers that there seems to be some variation - other reviews have multiple pleats along the bottom, mine does not (mine matches the listing photo); other reviews mention zippers on the large piece, mine doesn’t have that (but it was still super easy to put on).
