EasyFlex Plastic Tree Trunk Protectors, 12 Count, Grey

Time will tell, been using for a week, saplings look untouched ...

We purchased some of these (or a similar product) from a local store near us a few years ago. I love them for protecting smaller or young trees when you are weed-eating around them. We have increased our number of fruit trees, and they are all young. I could not find these anywhere this year, so I went to Amazon and purchased this set. It was far cheaper than we paid for two years ago, and they work fantastically!Highly recommended.

I have a tip for these. I spray-painted the tops with fluorescent orange paint, to make them easier to see in the lush grass when mowing or weed eating. I also used a small dowel pushed into the ground, and a zip tie fastened to the plastic to hold them upright better. I paid for my baby trees and don't want someone to accidentally mow them down!

Im not so crazy about the curved-in end. Trees with delicate bark are potentially injured by the pressure. The curl is a bit tight for bigger trees but unrolling it flat with some force removes some of the curl.

we bought these to re-wrap wires that were originally threaded through pvc pipe to protect them on the outside of our house. Seems the landscapers weed eaters are very hard on the pvc especially after being exposed to the Texas heat and sun every day. Eventually they cracked and broke and rather than disconnecting everything and re threading new pvc we just wrapped these around the wires to protect them. Works perfect and I have plenty to replace them as needed.

I use these to prevent animals from gnawing on the bottom of tree trunks and they've worked great for years. Haven't had any break either, very durable. I imagine they will last a lifetime.

Vague instructions for this product were very disappointing for use with a bare root tree starter.

Long lasting, well made tree protector. Easy to use. We stack them up the tree trunks. Has sufficient room for tree growth. Keeps deer from destroying trunks with their antlers.

Best ones I have found so far.

These are a good size and are durable. 1 yr old they have done their job nicely and still look the same as the day I bought them

Reasonably priced versus alternatives I had sourced previously from Lee Valley. Easy to unroll and size according to trunk size of young tree or bush.

These fit nicely around the trunks of my new maple trees. Would be better if they were longer. I had to put two on each tree.
