I absolutely love the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO baby monitor! It arrived incredibly fast with next-day shipping, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the monitor and camera already pre-paired right out of the box—no frustrating setup required. The 5” HD screen is crystal clear, and the Patented Active Noise Reduction (ANR) technology works amazingly well at filtering out background noise while keeping every little sound from the nursery loud and clear. It’s so intuitive and easy to use that I had it up and running in minutes, making it perfect for busy parents. Highly recommend!

This is the best product anyone could buy! I have been using it daily since 2021 and have had 0 issues. The camera moves so smoothly, the image is top notch quality, and the sounds are so clear. The screen is a decent size and you can easily see your baby breathing through it. I can detect the simplest chest movement with its incredible zooming feature. It’s literally the most used product for me in the past 6 years! Also their customer service is phenomenal, back in 2021 my son spilled apple juice on it and I emailed the company and THEY SHIPPED ME ANOTHER ONE FOR FREE without asking any questions!!!! I have seen my friends literally waste money on baby monitors that barely last a year. If you want the best value for your money and longevity of a product then BUY this product now!! It’s super durable and the battery held up for over 5 years of literal daily use. It took over 500 falls over the past couple of years for the screen to finally give up! But sounds still works great.

I bought this largely for the interchangeable lenses, as the previous baby monitor was zoomed way too far in, and my wife and I are trying to keep track of a whole bedroom instead of a single corner...we have two toddler boys who like to violate curfew, and the 2 yr old is sneaky about it. Product works great so far. Key thoughts: Pros: 1.) The user interface on the monitor is superb. Has good feel, quality button clicks, etc. The things that should have dedicated buttons have them, and everything else is on a straightforward, easily navigated menu. Very nicely done UI. 2.) Video quality is good, and the wide-angle lens (bought separately) works better than I anticipated. Great for seeing who's out of bed and up to mischief. 3.) I'm always skeptical of advertised broadcast range, but the real world conditions on this are perfectly satisfactory. I am getting a signal through the brick wall of my house, and then 130 yards down the street to the main road at the entrance of my cul-de-sac (at which point I run out of room to walk further). It is reading 1-3 bars signal strength at that range. More than I need. 4.) Pairing additional cameras was extremely easy and nearly instantaneous. Nicely done feature. 5.) If any of the paired cameras are turned off (or out of range), the video monitor will ding at you, regardless of whether it is displaying that particular feed. The ding alert can be turned OFF in the monitor menu, which I appreciate - if an extra camera is turned off because I want to conserve the system, the dinging gets annoying quickly. But, I also appreciate the ding alert being available...I can foresee a kid-who-should-be-napping getting the bright idea to turn off the video camera while my wife is outside gardening. In this case, she would get an alert within seconds. 6.) The camera movement / scanning feature is quite smooth, and moves in very fine increments. Motor is whisper quiet. Awesome feature for a no-Wifi camera set-up. Cons: 1.) You get what you pay for. This camera system was 3x the price of the one we returned, and so it feels like an investment. If a kid breaks a camera, I'll be pulling it from their college fund. That'll teach 'em!

If you’re looking for a baby monitor; look no further. I have had three kids in the last four years and this monitor has been incredible! I had an owlet for my first born, which I did not like. It was WiFi and super spotty, constantly stopped working even though we had great internet. I bought this one when I was pregnant with my second, and LOVE it! It has an incredible picture and sound, and you can move the camera around with the monitor to get a better view. It has such a good quality picture you can see your baby breathing on the camera which I loved to help ease my anxiety when moving them to their crib. It has great range, and it’s super easy to add another camera to the same monitor if you have multiple kids. I bought another camera when I was pregnant with our third, and it took two seconds to connect. I also had an issue with my monitor so I emailed customer service, and they got back to me immediately and replaced my monitor even though it was outside of the warranty. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in the market for a monitor! It doesn’t uses WiFi so you don’t have to worry about it being hacked and you can take it on vacations. Some people say the battery life isn’t that long, but I only keep it unplugged for naps so I’ve never had a problem. It probably lasts 4-5hrs using full brightness and sound before it needs a charge. Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

5 star product, 1 star for purchasing from Amazon. Bought the whole starter package with camera and monitor but only the monitor came, and it was definitely not brand new. I couldn't even get it to turn on. There was no camera or camera accessories, just the monitor and plug for it. I ended up having my baby before setting it up. My husband went to get it set up before we came home only to find it missing the camera. We ended up just buying a new one from Target on the way home from the hospital. He set it up and it's great!!! Amazing picture and sound. Great connection. No worry about wifi hacking. Its easy to set up and connect the camera to the monitor. We also bought the extra wide angle lens which is great for seeing the whole room but still allows you to zoom in enough to see the baby in the crib. The night vision is great too. We'll be getting more cameras to add too as you can have up to 4. But we'll probably skip Amazon this time and go straight to Target for those. For this one, we have to package it yourselves and print a label to send it back to Amazon. I don't want to have to go through the hassle again if it happens with the camera. Amazons quality control really seems to be lacking in the last year or two.

This has been an amazing monitor as a first time mom! The video is super clear as well as the audio. The microphone also works well and baby is able to hear me. The set up was a breeze and it has been super easy to use. Also a great price point among the many monitors out there. I was also surprised at how long the battery life is as well, even after 2 years. Highly recommend this as your baby monitor purchase!

Upgraded to this from the regular DXR-8 and it was so worth it. Cons: Battery life of two to three years is disappointing, but we have used it every day and still recommend it! Will even buy the replacement battery to keep being able to use the monitor. There is sometimes “interference noise” on the monitor if my phone is next to it. Pros: -We have two cameras and a zoom and wide angle lens- the picture and sound quality are fantastic, I can hear and see my child clearly and she can hear me well when I use the “talk” feature. -the “ANR” (noise reduction feature) mutes my child’s sound machine noise so I don’t have to hear it all night, but her voice comes through clear as a bell. -The range is far, I’ve used it to get outdoor chores done while baby is sleeping inside and never had it disconnect. -the screen is bright and easy to see even outside on a sunny day. At night I keep it as low as one “bar” and it’s bright enough -We have traveled with it, dropped it many times and it even survived a dunk in the water table! Its durability is a plus.

The picture quality is great, the monitor is easy to use, and it gives me peace of mind being able to check on my son. Was working fine for the first week, and now the monitor keeps on loosing it's connection to the camera

Monitor is fantastic. Image is clear, range covers the whole house and then some, battery lasts throughout the night with half still remaining in the morning and is user replaceable for when it eventually wears out. Maybe a little bare on features but what's there works perfectly.
