Too old school
I used to love Tivoli product 10 years ago, nice design, great sound for the size, nice functionality.. I guess Tivoli is popular for its classic design and minimum features, especially for the radio. I was looking for a clock with radio alarm and sleep timer for the bed side table. So I chose Model three. It looks nice, and it sounds nice. The positive side stop there. I find this Model Three is way too old school. The biggest flaw for me is that the clock is too bright, and cannot be turned off or dimmed. It bothers me and my sleep so much. Also, the alarm feature is awkward. The clock is 12 hour instead of 24hour so if the alarm is not turned off, it rings at 6pm again. I should have read the manual before purchasing it..

Really like it. It has good sound.

No clock illumination and rediculous clock setting
No clock face illumination for night time viewing, USB-C power plug didn't work. It took over 15 minutes to change the clock to current time by pressing the setting button for every minute change needed...think of a 9 hour change. I returned it.

Poor battery life on analog clock
Well built and great retro look. However, the clock runs only on a AA battery, and not on power. So when the battery dies, which has been twice (!) in the past 40 days since I purchased it, the clock stops. It has gone through two batteries in a little over a month! Obviously, not really something you’d want to trust as an alarm clock. But even as just a cool thing to display in a room, the clock stopping so often makes it pretty frustrating.

Poor Battery Life from Marko
Marko says the clock runs on a AA battery only, and not on power. But this is not true. The battery is just a backup when the AC power is off. The battery lasts a long time and I cannot think of what his problem is, unless he has a lot of power outages, or he is somehow switching the power to that socket off without knowing it.
