MUST HAVE accessories that you need to buy if you dont have high lift rails.
Ordered a set of these for my 9x12 ft garage doors. Opted for these over the 8500w because they have built in wifi (no external hub to mount) and they have the capability to add battery backup if I choose to down the road but I didn't want for the near future. Comes with a one button opener (lame but works) tension sensor, set of light sensors and an emergency release cord. Installation was easy but I had to wait a couple weeks for the pushers to arrive after installing to get them setup properly."Liftmaster 841LM Automatic Garage Door Lock " you can simply pry open the door without it so you will want one of these if you have anything of value contained within your garage."Liftmaster 878max Garage Door keypad " Self explanatory."Liftmaster 893Max remote controls" Also self explanatory."27 inch pusher springs" If you don't have high lift doors you will either need to leave at least the full bottom panel left vertical at the high limit (head banger!) or you will need these to be able to fully open your garage door and let these "push" it back down from the open fully open limit until gravity kicks in and does its thing. Without it there is a little slack in the tension sensor when it starts down and the door will not close properly/consistently. I wish someone had mentioned these to before I installed so I didn't have to wait 2 more weeks for them to arrive. So here I am hoping to save you the trouble.
