Personally, I am not a fan of any kitchen sponge. I think it's mainly because they're disposable, and I have found using a good kitchen dish cloth works just as well if not better than a sponge, and you can throw it in the washer. My husband, however, will not touch a dish unless he has a kitchen sponge.For years we had been using the scotch bright yellow ones. I'm talking we bought them in huge quantity from Sam's....but they would only last a week or so before we had to dispose of them (and the smell, ugh).These OCedar sponges are like a breath of fresh air. They clean dishes really well, they scrub pots and pans extremely well and they don't scratch either. They don’t smell, the scrubbing part does not disintegrate and they last a very long time before they need replaced, and mainly that's because I think geez I can't remember when we last replaced these, so I'll bring out a new one.These are really great value for the quality of the sponge and the length of time that they last. Plus they really just work well. I would purchase them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them!

These are well worth the investment! I had no set expectations, with regard to trying out these sponges, other than America’s Test Kitchen saying these are their favorite kitchen sink sponge.They are very high performing — with little to any downside. They are a workhorse in our kitchen, rinse out really clean, while holding up far longer than any other sponge I’ve ever used before.

I bought these thinking that they'd be like all of the other sponges that I buy and try SO hard to keep clean (the smell) and end up dishwashing constantly and then throwing them out after a short time. These are actually FANTASTIC! I had zero expectations for these sponges because I'm VERY diligent about totally rinsing/squeezing/drying my sponges with cold water and ensuring all soap is out of them to prevent that nasty smell they inevitably get....but with other sponges, it just doesn't help. The dishwasher gets the smell out, but it's back days later if my son or significant other forgets to rinse even once.These are TOTALLY smell-free! I have been using the same one since I bought this package and there has been zero scent and I haven't even needed to throw it in the dishwasher once!! I'm so excited because I'm really sensitive to smells and am so tired of checking on...sponges(?) when I have better things to do. Not only do these stay smell-free....but they rinse out really easily and the scrubby side doesn't fray or wear down. The sponge has a "smooth" feeling that's hard to describe, but I'm guessing is somehow involved in how these stay free of bad smells and mold (maybe a coating?) I thought I was buying basic sponges and ended up being able to get rid of the many sponges that I'd keep out in the rotation while others were being cleaned/dried. Now I just have one of these on my sink that I use for everything and there's NO need to worry about mold/smells or any sort of maintenance. I can't even believe how great the price is considering you get a huge package of these and won't need to throw them away or have "back ups" since they work so well.They lather up as easily as they rinse and they dry quickly, too. Plenty of power to scrub in these sponges and the quality is evident as soon as you get them out and feel/use them. I hope they make these forever so that I never have to put a smelly sponge in the dishwasher, microwave, or trash can again! AWESOME and highly recommend!***Update May 24th***I'm STILL on the first sponge of this pack! No wear on the "scrub" area, no smell, no need to sterilize in the dishwasher/microwave and I still have 5 left! Smelly sponges is a huge "gross" factor in my kitchen stress and I'm amazed at this sponge. I don't know what they did differently, but when the teen and adult guys in my household leave it wet and full of soap.... still no smell. And the scrubby side looks like brand new after months of heavy use!

great with cold water! once hot, the sponge deteriorates very quickly. the first sponge we used only lasted 2 weeks. I am glad there are 6 of them in a pack!

Works great in the kitchen. After I have used in kitchen all I can I put in clean basket for bathrooms or outside cleaning. They last a long time and are very durable. They are totally worth the money.

These are the best sponges. A little expensive but they last a pretty long time.

I do Subscribe and Save and for such a long time have found the quality of even the name brand no scratch sponges available in the store to be very lackluster . Brands I relied on now seem cheap, don't last long and the rough surface has become very cheap. Investigated here on Amazon and discovered the O-Cedar Scrunge Sponge and OMG!! I never thought I would rave a sponge but these deserve a multitude of raves. These are high quality and durable sponges. They are so well constructed beginning with the very thick and absorbent sponge portion. The scrubber side is rippled and ridged and varies from 1/4 to 1/2 inch in thickness. Often this portion is tough - not so here. It is flexible and bends easily along with the sponge and can move into any size area from the biggest to the tiniest to scrub and clean. The scrub portion also never seems to be coming apart from the sponge. The directions for the sponges simply say to be sure to rinse thoroughly and squeeze the sponge dry after each use. Believe me, you have to do this without thinking. That is how absorbent this sponge is. It holds water and soap well and as you rinse it out it squeezes completely clean and you can feel the sponge fresh after the rinse. I was also very impressed that using the scrubber side on heavy grime leaves no residue. That portion rinses well too. Take care of these and one will last up to 60 days. Again, I never never thought I would rave a scrubber sponge but high kudos to O-Cedar for the Scrunge sponge. Highly recommend. It will be the only one I use from now on.

Best scrub sponge there is! Scrunge is long-lasting and doesn't get stinky if you rinse it out, like other sponges do. I've been using these to clean my new-to-me kitchen and they're getting the job done well. The scrubbing side gets built-on grease off surfaces without scratching.
