The Sak Alameda Crossbody

Like 2 outside pockets. My google pixel phone fit into outside snap pocket with room for other small item like keys but probably not sunglasses and still snap. 2 interior slide pockets are deep, but narrow, slightly baggie and have about 1/4" fold in fabric so they can expand into purse to accommodate thicker items like sunglasses. Wish stitching on outside pocket was black and smaller, more polished. Also would like if hardware wasn't a distressed darkened brass/gold. Looks wise the fabric on the sides and back of the strap really drag the purse down. Decent leather purse, but VERY casual.

I was specifically looking for a vacation crossbody bag. Something light-weight, mid-size (I'm normally a big bag kinda girl), and something casual but not too casual or utilitarian like a nylon or canvas, and not too dressy either. Something I could wear sightseeing and at a nice restaurant. This ALAMEDA CROSSBODY in Light Smoke fit the bill perfectly. It's not the kind of bag I would normally use. I prefer high end bags or at least bags with some personality. This bag is pretty simple but has some nice understated details like the charms and the scalloped front edges. Plus has more pockets than most bag without taking away from the main compartment space. And even though the leather isn't the best quality in the world, it is nicely finished and soft. It serves my needs perfectly. Don't want to get robbed because of a luxury bag. This bag is perfect. I like it so much , I bought another one in Black. My only tiny con, is I wish the strap was removable. But it's not a biggie, I just tuck it in to create a clutch for evening.

This is my first "real" purse, meaning my first expensive (for me) leather bag. I had high hopes and did a lot of research before I bought it. I'm happy (mostly) with it, but there are a few things I'm surprised weren't better designed.Pros: Nice lines, soft leather, it's kind of upscale casual boho. Adequate pockets. Seems well-constructed. Fits plenty and has room for my larger sunglasses case as well as my full-sized wallet with room to spare (but not tons).Cons: Kind of standard (nothing really sets it apart, but that's not terrible). The rear pocket sits a little low, so when I'm carrying it and there's something I need to get to in there, I almost feel like I need to reach under the bag to get it. The strap is short for a crossbody. I have it at the full length and it still sits higher than I'm used to. When it's full, it may look a little lumpy. Also, the fabric under the strap is coarse enough that it catches on fabrics. Not so much as to damage them, but it's enough that you can't really slide the strap over easily to adjust how the purse sits on your shoulder.Overall, I'll keep it and I'm not *un*happy with it, but I wish certain things were better for the price.

Update: The stitching around the zipper on one of the outer pockets has come undone already. I've accessed this pocket once or twice a day for less than 2 months. I only have the purse filled to about half capacity, so it is not heavy or overstuffed. When not in use, it hangs on a hook, so I have handled it gently. There is absolutely no reason this bag should have any wear showing yet. Buyer beware!Original review: I got the floral print, currently priced at $48.I agree with other reviewers that there is no way this is a leather bag as advertised. I knocked off a star for the false advertising. But the materials are all good quality and the stitching seems to be sound, so I feel like the price was appropriate. The other colors are priced at $90 and up, however, so if those bags are fake leather as well, they are way overpriced.Some reviewers have noted a sub-par zipper. Mine was stiff at first, but loosened up quickly and now slides well after just a few days of minimal use.The sizing in the description is accurate. I am able to carry glasses, phone, thin wallet, keys, mask, hand sanitizer, tissues, and lots of small personal items with room to spare.The color and pattern are just as pictured. I love the blues and purples against the cream background. It's feminine without being too dainty, and will look good with clothes for all seasons.

I love the zippered pockets and have found this to be my favorite purse. It just fits the bill for size and convenience. The interior is sturdy and has not disappointed. Crossbody type purses are my go to as others slip off my shoulder. I don't put so much in this that it is a burden on my shoulders. It is just great.

For the last few years I’ve been searching for a perfectly sized post-diaper-bag purse. I needed it large enough to fit the things I need to carry with me (ie masks, phone, keys, large wallet) but not huge enough that it becomes a black hole. This purse is fantastic. Perfectly sized, great quality, and super cute. The inside lining fabric and the front/back zippers (which I’m currently using to separate adult size and kid size face masks) are my favorite parts. I also love the size of the inside non-zippered pockets, perfectly sized for my large phone.

Just what I was looking for--reasonably sized bag with easy-to-use and secure external pockets, an inside zipper pocket and two roomy slip pockets for key case and I-phone 8. Took off the fancy tassles because they are not my style, but really like the looks of the bag.

Like the Color, Leather and Finishing Touches... Always have like "The Sac" products....so wasn't disappointed.... It's GREAT!!!! Came when it was suppose to...no problems at all!!

A little smaller than what I was expecting and zipper catches quite often.

Good quality leather purse. Love the color and not too oversized for travelling.
