Mary Kay Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 1 fluid ounce

I have been using this primer for a couple years. Really like it. There is no sunscreen smell to it, and it definitely keeps me from burning as I work in the yard.It feels really silky and makes my skin feel soft. Also fills in my pores so my foundation looks smoother. It is a bit costly, but a little goes a long ways. I don't put it on my eyes, although I honestly don't know if you can? I just didn't want to chance it. Also seems like it might make my eyeshadow crease? But, I could be wrong, just never tried it. Hard to describe the texture of this primer- it's clear, looks a bit like Vaseline, but thinner. Melts into your skin. Has a silky smooth feel, that reminds me of the chi hair serum I use. Doesn't ever cause me to break out, and has no scent to it. Really like it :)

I noticed that by mid day my foundation had absorbed in to my skin so this does not offer any additional staying power if you have oily skin. It does not fill in the lines or cracks on my skin either. It does however give a smooth matte finish. Not bad for the price, but I prefer some of the higher end primers, like MAC.

This primer is AMAZING. My makeup stays on all day and I mean all day. Up to 16 hours with this stuff. It protects my face so I don't break out as much and it's a lightweight formula. Doesn't feel greasy or heavy.

Love this makeup and it’s a great value. After purchasing the first time I was worried it wouldn’t last long but it really does last about 6-8 weeks so we’ll worth the money. Goes on great!

Ok...so...I'm elderly but this product really looked and felt luxurious. I applied a small amount under my foundation and I actually saw a smoother, less wrinkled result. It also helped to keep my foundation on longer than normal. I will continue to purchase.

This is by far the best primer I have tried -- and I have tried at least 4 other brands, some many times the cost of Mary Kay. I highly recommend this primer. (PS This review is by Alexander's wife. He says the only primer he uses is Benjamin Moore.)

I wasn't very impressed with this product. I guess I'm used to different type of primer. Yes, this product is very silky and applies easily. It does change the texture of my skin but enough for almost $15. I applied my CC cream with and w/o this item and really did not see any difference.The worst is, I think this product smells like ointment and when I get it even slightly near my eye...slightly! I'm not saying I put this right under my eye...my eyes start to water and stings for 30 minutes. I didn't experience this with other primers before!Returned!

I love Mary Kay primer. It is a little thick, which I like, but not so much so that is feels heavy. It's velvety smooth. It really helps my foundation go on smooth and glides over my wrinkles. Not into them. I am 50+, so I have a few. I need a product that helps to minimize them, not emphasize them. I'm on my third tube and will be ordering a fourth!
