Be prepared to loose all sense of sanity when building this BBQ. Top tip build the upper casing around the ash tray and the sticky up metal bits are to hold the hood square so make sure they point upwards, also the warmer door/ash area the hinges point downwards NOT upwards like the diagram shows and the fixing screw for the racket handle for moving the coals up and down, the washer for KK screw needs to be on the actual ratchet handle as if you fix it whilst on the screw like I did first off then the ratchet unscrews the screw...much head scratching is required for this BBQ but worth it in the end...Happy building folks. EDIT May 2020, this BBQ is the most amazing piece of kit I have ever had the pleasure to own, it is so controllable with the up and down lift on the coals tray, I have had many BBQ's including gas ones but this is by far the best I have ever had and highly recommend

Came on time, decent materials. Looks daunting at first when building but it soon makes sense and it's pretty satisfying when you've finished. A few small scratches and dents but nothing that I had any real issues with. It doesn't feel like a high end product but It is pretty sturdy when built and it works well. I paid £140 but I'd say its worth £100 maximum.

Mission to build - what a lovely barbecue though. It’s £130 and I love it - Despite a few niggles and issues, I could honestly say I’d buy it again. One. Or two out of place pieces but bend it and you’ll have a working piece of art! Thanks guys

Missing parts and rusted after the first rainy day.

Ideal product was tricky to build instruction were ok but I kept looking at the image as it helped me more to put together took good 2 hours time I won’t get back .. once built its steady easy to clean perfect as charcoal bbq the racks is heavy overhaul pleased with value for money for less than 100 quid

Allow yourself an hour or so to get this thing set up. It's not hugey complicated but does require a bit of working out. Once you're up and running, the BBQ is fantastic. The ability to raise and lower the coals, and the flap at the front which allows you to add more coals mid-BBQ are really very handy features. I can't see me getting another BBQ in the future that doesn't have these features. The BBQ can also be used as a smoker and, with the lid down, it keeps your chicken and sausages nice and moist so you don't end up with dry, overcooked meat. Woulld definitely buy again!

I expected a bit more from this product especially given the price.After 4 BBQs sessions where I have run some low and slow cooks the lid is warping.The instructions to assemble are diabolical.- A rubber stopper that should also be on the lid was missing.- The instructions referred to a bolt as a different letter to the letter in the packaging.- The diagrams are unclear and so I started to assemble some parts and then you realise what it is referring to. But the assembly part is done now and you move on...But the lid warping is not great on a smoker and a shame to experience on a product that costs this much.The surface is a pain to clean but all BBQs have that issue in my experience.Note: The delivery was a messy situation but I did order during the covid pandemic so it would be entirely unfair to review that part.
