This is the only dog shampoo we use. The size of the bottle is just right and the shampoo is thick and lathers well. I highly recommend.

Dog bath

I have a 10 year old German Shepherd in the heat of southern Louisiana, so skin issues and shedding is a problem. I have only used this shampoo once and so far I am incredibly happy. It was very soothing for her skin and she's been itching much less, thankfully. I'm not sure how much its helped with the shedding, because I still have to vacuum daily (sometimes more than once), but that's secondary to the skin soothing. It also smells great, and isn't to thick, or too watery, which is important to me when I am washing 80lbs of dog. It lathers well and rinses fairly easy. I'lp be buying it again, for sure.

This product may be a bit more expensive than many more familiar brands but is worth the extra cost. My Pittie has short, coarse fur but this product leaves her soft and silky with a mild, pleasant smell. Since it is "tear free", I don't need to worry if some of the suds run into her eyes. It takes only a small amount to get her clean and happy.
