Philips Avent Toddler Weaning Spoons

Very bad. The plastic melted and the spoon has become toxic for the baby to use only after a couple of uses. Disappointed, shocked, didn't expect this out of avent. Philips is not even making a replacement either after complaining about the same.

cup size is very small. good for 6 month old baby only .nice quality, prompt delivery.

Serves exactly the amount of food to the baby as much he can swallow at one time

it will keep on falling because of heavy tail. Plastic is good

This spoon is a great example of a well thought out weaning spoon. The tip of the spoon is made of flexible material, the shape of the bowl is shallow enough that it holds food without holding too much and also makes it easier to get the food off the spoon and into the baby's mouth. The handle is nicely built-up making it comfortable for adults and baby to hold.It also comes "in pre-stained orange" not the most attractive colour but I'm confident that it was carefully researched to match the colour that most weaning spoons will eventually end up anyway after meals of carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato and other orange foods.All round, a really well considered item that has so far done a brilliant job. 5 stars.

I think that when it comes to weaning, parents just want what's more practical, handy and resistant. You don't want it to get even more complicated that it already is, right? So look no further.These should be named Winning Weaning Spoons, because with them you can only win. They have the perfect size for your baby's little mouth, and yet gentle with his/her's gums, they look cheerful and funny and are truly dishwasher proof. Also they have a long handle so it's practical for us to reach our baby's mouth without making a mess out of it! I have to add, all the Philips Avent line is perfect for me, so far!

I was not sure what to look for when I needed to buy first weaning spoons for my 6 month old baby boy. I decided on these after reading the reviews. My son is now 10 months and has used a few different ones in the last 4 months. These are definitely the best spoons to start weaning with. They are small and soft but most importantly they are not too deep so you can give small amounts easily and they are a good shape to hold the more runny foods like fruit purée which run off some of the flatter spoons. 4 months on and we still use these every day.

i looked at quite a few spoons before buying these but these seemed the best n im very happy with these.. my lil boys started to realise every time i get a spoon its time for his dinner :) there soft on my boys gums, hes 6 months n these spoons r deep enough for him, there also long enough to get into jar foods. it does say on the packaging that u cant sterilise them.. i dont know why as i have n they are fine.

Great little weaning spoons, they are just the right size for my baby whose taking his first solids now.They are super soft on his gums but are also very comfortable for me to hold with a nice long handle.They are a bit expensive but are definitely better than some of the others that I bought at the same time, so 4 stars.
