Great movie!!

If you need the catharsis of a good laugh around romance--this is it. Hitch is a classic. It is hilarious, and superbly acted. What else can I see? Just go watch it.

I know this won't get me a lot of "helpful" votes, but I have to say it. I am not a big Will Smith fan. I don't like Science Fiction. Hated "Prince of Bel Aire." Thought Men in Black was slack! But I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It really is fantastic! I have to say first of all, major kudos to the Music arranger and music writers. I really loved the soundtrack selection, as well as the original sound recordings for this movie. From the first hit song, playing during the opening arrangement, Hitche's intro, to the final notes, every song is dead on, and perfect. Michael Rappaport. Can somebody explain to me why this guy isn't a bigger star getting bigger roles? Is he somebody's buddy? He plays every part he's in perfectly, and I wish we could see more of him. He's in one short bar scene playing pool with Will Smith's character, as we get to know who Hitch really is. I also like Eva Mendes, and the other smaller roles throughout. And of couse, Kevin James steals every scene he is in. He really is a great physical comedian. Every scene he is in made me scream with laugher. I'm exaggerating a bit, but you know what I mean. I originally watched this on the UMD on my PSP, but I also rented it on DVD, and enjoyed the extras very much. Commentary is great, and enjoyable. I liked learning about the decisions about soundtrack, especially since I enjoyed it so much. Great twin storylines between Hitch and the Kevin James character. I liked the dance scene at the end, at their wedding. I really liked this movie!

Film spettacolare, visto in bluray in alta definizione poi è tutta un'altra cosa. Amazon super veloce consegnato dopo un giorno, imballaggio perfetto. Consigliatissimo.

This film has literally become one of my favourites. It is one of the first rom-coms I have seen and not been ashamed (as a man) to enjoy! Full of bright comedy, heart-warming relationships, drama and bright characters, Will Smith and Eva Mendes can hold their heads high at being a part of a truly great films. Whilst I have no doubt that this film will receive less praise than it deserves (it is my belief that Will Smith is one of the most under-rated actors) I refuse to take anything away from it. Whilst some may say that people are truly not as shallow as portrayed it is nice to see the stereotype of a loving relationship shown in a different and 'querky' way that everyone can enjoy! A great film I will happily watch over and over!

Für mich ist Will Smith einer der genialsten Schauspieler, die momentan auf den Leinwänden dieser Welt ihr Unwesen treiben. Schon im Prinzen von Bel Air hat er einen Heuler nach dem anderen gelandet und mit seinen diversen Nebenrollen in einigen Blockbustern hat er sich zum Hauptdarsteller in Hollywood nach oben gearbeitet. Ein Mann der an Sexappeal und Humor wohl kaum zu übertreffen ist (ja, Frauen mögen manchmal doch witzige Männer). Und die Rolle als Date- Doktor Alex Hitchens ist ihm wie auf dem Leib geschnitten. Wer, wenn nicht er?? Story: Alex 'Hitch' Hitchens (Will Smith) ist DER Mann für die Männer in New York. Hoffnungslose Fälle schaffen es ihre Traumfrau anzusprechen. Schöne Frauen, die sich niemals auch nur für den Betreffenden umgedreht hätten. Das Credo des Date- Doktors: Sei diskret. Seine Hilfe funktioniert ohne, dass jemand sein Gesicht jemals gesehen hätte. Hitchs neuester Fall ist Albert (Kevin James). Buchhalter und schrecklich verliebt in die wohlhabende und hübsche Allegra Cole (Amberta Valetta). Nun ist die Hilfe des bekanntesten New Yorker Stadtmythos gefragt. Zuerst heißt es einen Stil in den Mann zu bekommen, der ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken mit Senf auf der Nase zum Chef gehen würde. Ein schwieriger Fall, doch nicht schwer genug für Hitch. Währendessen bricht Journalistin Sara Mendez (Eva Mendes) ihren Urlaub an, denn sie hat eine Story gefunden, die nicht warten konnte. Vermutlich hätte sie aber doch, denn sie ist DAS heiße Eisen in der Branche, wenn es um Klatsch geht. Nachdem die beste Freundin Casey (Julie Ann Emery) von einem Typen fallen gelassen wird, erfährt sie vom Date- Doktor. Im Gegensatz zu Casey hält Sara diese Geschichte für eine Legende. Soetwas kann es unmöglich geben. Sara ist von Beziehungen eher desillusioniert und will erst gar keine anfangen, denn sie hat ohnehin keine Zeit und auch keine Lust dazu, sich das Herz herausreißen zu lassen. In einer Bar treffen Hitch und Sara aufeinander. Der coole Anmachspruch musste einfach ziehen und die beiden treffen immer wieder aufeinander. Doch während Hitchs neuer Klient Albert einen Treffer zu landen scheint, läuft es beim Date- Doktor persönlich nicht so gut. Ein Heulkrampf, ein k.o. auf dem Jetski und eine heftige allergische Reaktion sind nur Highlights aus dem Pannenkatalog von Saras und Hitches Dates. Aber wo die Liebe hinfällt ...! Ein genialer Film mit Will Smith. Ein Frauenheld wie er kann selbstverständlich den coolen Ratgeber in Sachen Liebe mehr als nur gut miemen. Erfrischend sind die Pannen, die ihm selbst bei seinen Dates passieren. Da lernt man mal, dass noch kein meister vom Himmel gefallen ist, auch wenn er es zu seinem Beruf gemacht hat. Fazit: Unbedingt ansehen. Eine der besten und erfrischensten Liebeskomödien, die ich kenne. Leben bedeutet nicht atmen, sondern die Anzahl von Momenten, die dir den Atem rauben ...!

Will Smith as a relationship consultant is a funny enough idea to start with, Combined with Kevin James hot for a superstar model, and several other screamingly hilarious episodes. One of my favourite comedies. My wife and my parents loved it, too. Great esp for anyone over 30.
