No. These are not easy. My daughter is able to do most anything with wheels easily, but these took time to learn how to do. She got discouraged at first, but kept practicing and eventually figured it out.

No, it's not electric...No motors... you have to work to get these moving. Imagine wearing roller skates sideways. It's a fun way to move but not an easy mode of transportation.

My 13 year-old could barely get the hang of standing on Concrete, so she hasn't attempted off-road. Looking at the wheel Set-up, it doesn't seem to be built for off-road though.
