Bought to attach a power pack to my phone when playing Pokemon Go.The length works well for this application, meaning there's not loads of excess cable to deal with when holding phone and power pack together in one hand, The flat cable is also a plus in this regard.The style of the standard size USB connector does present a couple of issues. Firstly, it's possible to insert it the wrong way round so check that your device is receiving power when you make the connection to ensure you've not got it in back to front. Secondly there's not a lot of tension between it and the mating half of the connector so be careful that you don't allow a power pack or similar to dangle unsupported from the cable as even a modest weight will cause it to part company with the usb connector and drop to the ground, potentially causing an expensive breakage.

My cable arrived 3 days quicker than advertised and at just 99p (including delivery) there's not much to complain about!Indeed, the cable works fine despite the unconventional USB A connector. That fits firmly into place without any issues. I have installed the cable semi-permanently in the car and it does an excellent job connected to a wireless charger. I'm none too sure how well the cable would withstand constantly being inserted and removed but, for me, it does the job very well. A shame I couldn't get one in black.However, I did subsequently buy a white one too!!

I was puzzled by the very variable charging times I was getting for my phone and then found an app "Ampere". Using the app, I found that the cables that came included with a car adapter charged at half the rate of the cable that came with the phone. So it can be a bit of a lottery when buying USB cables.I needed a new short cable for the car and decided to give the ULTRICS cable a try. I was very pleased to find that it charges at the same rate as the original cable. I will definitely be sticking with ULTRICS for future cable buys.

I bought two of these a few days ago because I'm tired of dragging around a massive micro usb cable to transfer stuff off my phone onto my laptop.I have tried to use them multiple times now to transfer music and pictures across but unless the cables are kept incredibly still, they disconnect frequently and don't always reconnect.For that reason I can't recommend these, it wasn't just one cable either it was both. As others have mentioned, it's also really stiff on your micro USB connector socket.

Needed a short, bright USB charger cable, so tried this one because it was bright, cheap and because it makes a magnetic loop. Came on time, and is what I expected.One thing to note is that is a bit of a tight for my wall charger, but if fits easily into the USB port on my laptop, which is what matters.

I used it with a working genuine Samsung power bank that I had used for a year before buying this cable. I started using the cable and ended up with a swollen battery in my Samsung S6.Oblivious to what the cause might be I got the battery replaced and continued using the same power bank and this cable. Guess what - I ended up with another swollen battery. I think this cable gets easily damaged while being twisted in use.With a third battery fitted I decided to buy some other cable. The phone has worked with no issues since and its battery is fine.Beware

Mystifyingly, it just doesn't fit a USB socket. The type A plug on the item measures 12.43mm (up to 12.5 at the widest, as measured on my micrometer), and the Type A spec says 12.0 mm. Not something you'd expect, and very quickly resolved by Amazon, but there you are.

Accidentally bought this while looking for a short USB C cable, but that's my fault. I haven't actually tested the cable but I'm only giving it four stars as it doesn't fold particularly well. The two ends sit flat together but don't have anything to keep them that way and the cable is firm, so then forms a circular loop. On the other hand it is nice and short, hard to lose and feels like sturdy wire.
