purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. He is an avid diver and recently returned from a diving trip. He mentioned that some divers had more expensive cameras - but the quality of this camera was extraordinary and captured pictures as well as the more expensive. Color exceptional.Great Gift and Great TripSomeone remarked to him that the photos look like they belonged in National Geographic.

Camera does not work.Can't figure out how to contact seller

I bought this camera for my daughter to use on her trip to the Galapagos Is. Compared to the cameras others had this was by far the worst in focus and picture quality when in the water. On land without the waterproof case the camera worked well. We returned the camera to Amazon who refunded the purchase price without a problem. Fortunate for her ,her friends sent her their underwater photos so all was not lost.

The outside case is good and waterproof as stated, but the camera itself would shut off on its own and it was slow to take pictures underwater. I would miss some fish and turtles just because there was a delayed reaction from the shutter button. Photos are ok, but not good professional quality. I guess I have to spend a lot more than I did to get really good pictures underwater.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. Must watch the outer to be sure closed tight but she loves it.

I returned from two dive trips with some exceptional photographs. The Nikon 3600 which accompanies this DEEP VIEW housing takes extraordinary pictures for such a small device. When the housing worked properly, I was very satisfied. After the first trip, however, I returned the DEEP VIEW housing (after many unsuccessful attempts to contact the manufacturer) for several reasons: 1) unreliable camera strap; 2) the zoom button would stick, causing the camera to zoom in or out randomly; 3) the housing's video button does not align with the camera's video button. I received a new housing, having finally gotten in touch with the manufacturer.My new housing had a 1) new strap (equally poor quality but at least it worked); 2) the zoom function was still problematic; 3) the video button was still misaligned; 4) the new housing did not fit the camera properly, causing the housing lens to be present in almost all shots (photos included.) And, finally, 5) a bit of moisture got into the camera housing when I was at the pool. The alarm went off - great, this feature works! However, there was no way to shut the alarm off, no mention of how to shut the alarm on the website, no mention of how to shut the alarm in the instruction manual, and no response after multiple communication attempts with the manufacturer.The Nikon 3600 is a terrific little camera and took some exceptional photos. The macro feature is great and if you spend time learning the more advanced functions, you'll be surprised at how high the quality is. But the DEEP VIEW housing will only go so far. High marks for the camera. Extremely poor marks for the DEEP VIEW housing, and DEEP VIEW's unreliable customer service.

This is awesome! Great pictures, includes a sensor which alarms if water gets inside.
