I've tried many different options for non-dairy creamers for hot coffee and this is my favorite. It's also good in oatmeal.Note that it will not work well in cold drinks - the coconut cream sort of seperates out and it looks weird. The flavor is OK but texture is off.

AT LAST! The perfect substitute for milk for my young son and me! We cannot have dairy and have tried many varieties and brands of dairy-free milk, from rice to coconut to cashew to almond, including homemade and store-bought. Hands-down this has the best flavor and a nice creamy texture that makes a cup of coffee, a smoothie, or a bowl of cereal a delight - instead of a punishment - to enjoy, and with minimal added ingredients. I was purchasing the 16 oz containers at Whole Foods but they cost about the same as the large size on Amazon so I'm thrilled to have found this case option for the large containers and at such a reasonable price. My one wish would be that there could be an organic option for this; we try to eat all organic and definitely almonds should be produced organically.... so if that option comes along I will jump at it. Meanwhile we will enjoy this very much. To those who say this has too much fat, it has 6 g per cup and it's all healthy fat, and with zero sugar. Regardless, I'm happy to be able to add these extra calories to my son's diet as he is very thin and giving him almond or rice milk in smoothies offers almost nothing by way of fat which he really needs. The taste wasn't what I wanted. It was bad but not great either.

several nut/ plant based brands separate in hot coffee. Since moving from another state I have not found a coconut + nut based creamer similar to what I had been using until I looked on Amazon. I have returned or thrown out several alternate brands because they separate after 1 day in the fridge. Stores do carry many non-dairy creamers, but not unsweetened or unflavored. This creamer from Califia Farms is great...it behaves like half and half, tastes great, and can also be used in baking. Having a shelf-stable (until opened) creamer in the pantry saves me shopping time and trips carrying groceries.

Full of white pieces of something--coconut or plastic bits??? You can stir and stir, but they won't melt so I don't want to consume this stuff! I thought I'd cancelled it from my Subscribe & Save list, but hadn't. so this delivery is my bad. But I just made sure it won't be sent to me again.

I like the product. If you shake it vigorously, just before pouring, it's creamier with a mild coconut flavor. I use it in coffee, tea, on cereal, anyplace I'd use dairy half and half... With good results.The last box, I buy it in the box of six, one quart cartons. The outer box was wet and taped together. Never a good sign! Upon opening the outer box, which was difficult, do to all the tape, I found one of the quart cartons crunched in at the top and taped. It was shipped crunched, leaking and taped! This is supposed to be refrigerated after opening, even when the opening is an accident such as being dropped, not taped and shipped to a customer! It wasn't damage caused during transit, as the wet box was in a really big box with lots of other things. And this big box was sent via USPS! To the post office? Doesn't make sense to me...There have been several boxes sent via USPS, lately that didn't make sense to me. Big boxes... Glad the person who gets my mail for me is strong! Back to the review...I really like the Califia better half/half and half... Absolutely nothing against the product! The person who taped a damaged and leaking quart carton, then shipped it, well... Grrrrr!
