正直な話、プラモデルに関して壽屋はまだバンダイには及ばないと思っていました。プロポーションは見事だが可動、ギミックに関してはバンダイには一歩及ばずというのが私の中での壽屋製プラモデル評でした。しかしこのヤルダバオトの動く事動く事……その上可動がスムーズで保持力とのバランスも良し。可動範囲はアーマースライド搭載のMGと互角、動かしやすさにおいては完全勝利しています。私の壽屋製プラモデル評を大幅に上方修正させたキットです。
