BG-WM8BW Grovert Living Wall Planter with Frame Kit, 16 by 24 by 5-Inch, Barn Wood

I just received this item and was disappointed when I opened in up. First, it included no instructions or written materials. Second, various pieces are missing, including most of the fabric squares that retain moisture and one of the brackets connecting the frame to the plastic plant holder. Overall, it looks cheap and poorly constructed. I had intended this as a Christmas gift for my brother, but it will be going back.

It's a great idea and I really want to like it, but here are the issues: Mine didn't come with the lid over the back water compartment. The water drips down unevenly, so it soaks some of the plants and not the others. Hanging it was difficult because the back hardware doesn't have an elongated hole for a screw, it just has one small hole on each side meaning if the drill is a bit off, you can't slide the hardware horizontally to line it up with the first-drilled-hole. Something this heavy should probably have hardware with holes that are a bit more forgiving. And the back seems to leak a bit of water if you aren't careful.

Just ok. Did not arrive with any directions and I am some what confused as to how to hang it.

I bought this after spending a month in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they have living walls everywhere. It inspired me to try a living wall on a much smaller scale. I was drawn to this one because of the frame, makes it more like a living piece of artwork.At first I tried growing herbs, but that was unsuccessful. Likely more because the location I have it hanging doesn't have much direct sunlight. the 2nd go around has been much more successful. I used 4" indoor plants that only want bright light, but do not need direct sun. That seems to be the trick.A bit of advice, after the first couple of times, or just every other watering, fill the reservoir only half full. Highly recommended to someone who wants to add a bit more green to their living space. When I move to a bigger place and want another, I will most definitely come back to purchase another one of the same thing.

This is a good idea but a bad product. I gave it a few months because I already put the holes on my wall. I vaccuum soil falling on the side table and floor each and everyday. Worst yet, it leaked water on an electrical socket. It looks nice, no doubt, but bad design overall. I wish this company will take back the product and I will gladly return it. I am taking it down and I am very, very disappointed.

its ok, but not the model i thought i was getting. no instructions or mounting bracket included (although shown in product images). amazon offered to return it but couldn't get replacement parts. they dug up a factory name in india, which kindly called me back and explained they make lights, not this item.

The product arrived with modest scrapes, most likely due to inadequate packaging. There were no instructions of any kind included (in fact, no printed material of any kind was in the box), there was no mounting hardware of any kind or any point on the unit that would be the obvious place to affix to the mounting hardware (if it had been included), and no other indication of how to make the product function or to install it properly on the wall. The molded plastic that holds the plants itself was warped and uneven. All in all, this was a product that looks like a reject that had been returned and was repackaged and shipped back again as new. Even if it were new and included the parts and hardware, my only comment would be it is much smaller than you probably think. The dimensions refer to the framed area, edge-to-edge, to the planter boxes are, in a word, tiny. I would definitely not order this product again.
