Gnarly Head Biodegradable Beach Blonde Gentle Lightening Spray Vegan Friendly

I purchased this as an alternative to Sun-In, a rather pricey one I know - but it smells very good lol nah really it does lighten, but very very gradually. where it really shines for me is as a detangler, it's a very lightweight moisturizing formula that easily gets the knots outta your hair if your follow the directions of use. since spring and now summer have been upon us I spritzed a bit on my head every time I have to go outside and do some yard work in the hot sun, keeps my hair from getting frazzled and wrecked by the wind too, and yes over time it does help lighten those locks.

This spray works well. It feels lightweight yet moisturizing. The smell is subtle and sweet with an air of beachy tones. Makes my hair soft! I am saddened that it is discontinued.

I was pretty skeptical about this. I have been using this for a month off and on and I am starting to see my hair lightening. I have dark blonde, it's gotten darker with age. I'm pale so I'm not out in the sun for long. I'm sure this would go faster if I used it everyday and was out in the sun more. Overall the smell is great and it softens your hair. Would recommend if you want a natural subtle lightening of your hair.

It smells great and was an amazing detangler, but my hair fell out in clumps within days of first use. Once I stopped using hair stopped falling out. Hair loss was extreme. DO NOT USE!

My favorite hair lightener. It smells SOOOO GOOD! Detangles well, keeps my hair super healthy/hydrated and shiny, works great at lightening!

I love this spray. Its such a nice alternative to harsh chemical bleaching. I've been using it for about two weeks since I bought it and my hair is significantly lighter without too much red coming through -a result that I always have trouble getting because I have coppery brown hair. It smells nice and, unlike other lighteners that I've tried, it doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or stringy -in fact, its actually quite soft afterwards, almost like a leave in conditioner would make it and it adds lots of texture and volume to my long hair. The fact that its cruelty free and biodegradable is a also a huge plus -beauty without the guilt! I will definitely be ordering this product again and I would definitely recommend it.

This smells great and does good for my hair but did not lighten it at all. I do like it and will get it again but not for lightening purposes.

This spray smells amazing, and makes my hair super soft! I wasn’t expecting that out of a product that focuses on lightening hair (usually lightening sprays make my hair feel crunchy and dry), but I’m loving the bonus! That being said, tangles have been a thing of the past. As for lightening, it definitely has added dimension to my hair since I started using it. I use it after each time I wash my hair, and when I know I’ll be outside for most of the day. Also, how could you not absolutely love a product that’s vegan, and has biodegradable packaging?
