SteelSeries Siberia USB Sound Card (Black)

I plugged it in, I started FL Studio and I got better latency times than I got with the (terrible) onboard soundcard I had on my extra computer. It's a real time saver to be able to use all the computers in the house to jot down musical ideas. I know this sound card is for video games but the sound is much better than the onboard sound in all but one of my four computers, and that's without installing the included software or drivers. I'm trully impressed. Can't say how it works for games but it a great portable soundcard to me. The cords a little long, that's about my only gripe with it.

Over all this external sound card seems to do the trick. It is compact, it is loud, it is great for recording through, but it seems to give off static every now and then, and it seems that when I feed it into an external mixer board that the static noise created is HORRID! Though I'm not sure if it is all the fault of the card or something else.... None the less, if you internal sound is out, or your head phone jack is busted (which is my scenario) then for the money, this ain't half bad. It seems hardly any one else is having the same issues so why not try one out?

Personally, I am a huge fan of SteelSeries. I have a Siberia v2 as well as a QCK mousepad.They are great products, but I expected a lot more from than this. When I first received the product, I was really excited. I have heard that this had great reviews and that it would be a great product.First however, the packaging was pretty bad. The outside looked great, but the soundcard was personally not placed very well. The sides were coming apart as well.Second, the product was defective on arrival. It didn't work. The bass didn't come out, and my mic was not functional.Third, the quality isn't that special. My friend had one but I had never tried it, but once I did, it was barely different from my motherboard's soundcard.Overall, it does what it describes. So I had to give it 4 stars. But the quality was pretty bad. It is pretty good for cracked jacks or a broken inner soundcard. Personally, I suggest a PCI soundcard.4/5 stars. A very generous review for a DOA product.

Received sound card and it did not work properly from the minute we started to use it. The mute button was stuck in the "on" position. There was no way for anyone to hear my son while gaming with others online. He was very disappointed, especially since he had received his headset and that was not what we expected. It did not come complete so that he could play online with others. (I had ordered the same headset for my older child in Dec 2011 and that headset worked fine for gaming with others online. It came complete with working soundcard. I thought by ordering a soundcard for the second headset, that this would solve our problem. Unfortunately it did not, it arrived defective.I was skeptical to purchase this item based on the negative reviews. I did order it due to the more positive reviews. I had ordered other Siberia products with good results, still working 7 months later, and happy with the quality and comfort of the headset.

40 bucks. And what I get is something that makes me sound robotic every time I use it. Of course, that's only for a little bit and I have to mute myself and then unmute and ask if I don't sound like a robot. I don't know if it's just my mac or whatever, however paying $40 and getting an item that sort of works sometimes doesn't justify it. The support for it is abysmal as well, no solutions on anything, just the usual: the problem is not our problem, but your computer type of ideology. Anyways, I'm not going to rant, but I am just going to keep using it because I already paid so much for it.

This was for my nephew for Christmas and I did not know what it actually is used for. But the report from my nephew is that it is perfect, exactly what he needed. Delivery was quick and came well protected in its box.

This usb sound card is amazing. I am pairing it with my white Siberia V2 headphones I just got from Amazon as well. Make sure you visit [...] to get drivers installed to take advantage of advanced features.Some of the benefits of using a usb sound-card are a clean digital sound with no "hiss" that comes from plugging headphones into an on-board system. Also using a usb card reducing CPU utilization because all the sound processing is done on the little device with it's build in processor.

Rien à signaler de spécial, le produit est conforme à la description et fonctionne parfaitement. Je le recommande pour une vente future.

Ho acquistato un paio di cuffie Siberia V2 Steelseries e devo dire che dopo un mese di uso intenso in dolby surround sono rimasto totalmente soddisfatto, leggere non si sentono neanche dopo ore di gioco, solo un poco sudore alle orecchie, ma dopo un paio di ore di uso.I bassi sono da urlo veramente profondi e coinvolgenti le consiglio, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

El audio y tal muy bien. Y los botones que tiene de volúmen, apagar sonido y silenciar micro... estupendos.La única pega es que en Mac (en Lion al menos), de vez en cuando, usando tanto teamspeak3 como Skype, de pronto me dicen que se me robotiza la voz. La solución es quitar el cable usb de la tarjeta y volverlo a meter. Cuando hago esto, Skype suele aguantar, pero con teamspeak3 la mayoría de las veces me peta el programa. Esto pasa cada X horas, según le da. De todas formas si no hago nada al respecto, la voz vuelve a escucharse normal pasados unos minutos.
