Quality heavy duty product with large capacity. Easy to unscrew fastener knob and put back together. Extremely thick, sturdy construction for the plastic, and the metal internal bucket. Was surprised how big this was, but I’m really glad I got the bigger size as the bucket takes awhile to fill up generally. Highly recommend and definitely worth the price. We got this for our air bnb as we do not allow smoking inside, but wanted to create a nice area outside for our guests in the garden. They really appreciate it, the few smokers who stay.Edit The only suggestion I would make to the company who makes this product, is to put a small window to look inside. Then you could see if it actually needs to be opened or not first. A lot of times I open it, only to find it’s completely empty. It would save a little time and effort with a small window.

Smaller than I anticipated but perfect for my home. Living in the desert, a fire hazard is right out my front door in the desert landscaping. Normally I just disengage the hots from my cig and let it die out in the rocks but with it being closer to summer I needed a safer way to dispose of my butts. The ones you see outside businesses are taller and probably have double the base, the metal bucket inside fits snug so you can't add in much weight to weigh it down unless you use sand. I picked up some rocks from our yard and filled the bottom to make it a little more durable against rough winds. This is ideal for homes with smokers that go outdoors. Easy to empty and unlike glass ashtrays and the cylinder ones filled with sand you don't have to clean it often or swift through sand to pick out butts. Personally, I love it.. I hated throwing my butts in the outside garbage can or having to wait until I found a trash bag to throw them in. The design is sleek and with the dark color it blends in well with the landscape so it's not an eye-sore.

I have been smoking for way to long now and we have always had a butt bucket of some kind and its always been some sort of toxic waste mess, smelly water/cat litter pile of nasty half burnt butts in a bucket its gross never mind if it gets knocked over by something... yuck.I have seen this style of receptacle all over store fronts, business and work places . I've looked online but couldn't justify the price for just my backyard. When I seen this the price was right .Every smoker I know understands that they have a disgusting habit to non smokers and will gladly throw butts into a receptacle and non smokers seem to understand that the receptacle off to side somewhere is a smoking area like it or not and I'm sure appreciate not looking/smelling butts in a bucket or all over the place on ground.When I have a party I place this off to side of yard and without direction or signage everyone knows this is the place to smoke. The comments from both non and smokers is super positive. After the party it only take few seconds to dump out the metal 1 gallon bucket inside the receptacle. i just and a little cat litter in the base to keep it stable if it get hit by a runaway Frisbee or high winds but I never had any issues with tipping. I wish I could have found one a long time ago in this price range.

We had a butt can, so to speak, on the front porch and it always looked nasty. I have seen these things in front of businesses and thought if I could get one smaller than the ones you see on storefronts for the porch that would be awesome. And here it is. After doing some research on the sizes I picked this one and it looks fantastic on the porch. Way better than a butt can. It seems to extinguish the cigarette pretty fast too so you don't have that smell lingering. Inside there is a tin style bucket that catches the butts as you throw them in. You can add some sand around the base if you want to add some extra weight but so far I haven't needed to do that. It seems pretty heavy enough for the winds we get here. It opens simply by turning the large wing nut style screw, pop off the top and take the can out and dump it. Easy. I would watch getting water in the can as it is tin and it will rust fast. After cleaning your can out just make sure its dry before adding it back into the receptacle. I see someone gave it a 1 star because it was too small. Folks, the dimensions are in the description. Thats a pretty lame review if you didnt read the description. Its pretty good size just a bit smaller than the ones you see in front of stores...but who would really want that huge thing on their porch? IDK maybe someone. Anyway check out the dimensions and see if its right for you...its been perfect for us. Happy Shopping!!

Needed to replace our smoker outdoor ashtray and this one is heavy duty and sturdy. Color is bright and still colorful after sitting in the weather for over a year. It’s easy to empty out and put back together

My wife and I have been smoke free for about 2 years now. Living a smoke free lifestyle made us hate all the things that come with smoking. The smelly clothese, mouth, fingers and the cigarette butts everywhere. We threw a 2020 new years bash at our house and got this. Greatest decision. Cigarette butts on the driveway and street where minimal. Look and feel of the justrite is great. Solid construction.
