(You may want to try and adjust your headlights, before buying these. Its A LOT easier than installing low-beam bulbs, all you'll need is a google search, screwdriver, sharpy and 5 minutes) A risky, frustrating, and underwhelming install (instructions below). After taking the time to install these, they're not much brighter than the stock bulbs. Was hoping for a whiter color, but these still have a bit yellow. But they are better than stock halogens in my F30, I don't know if they're $40+ better. But better.How to install:*Turn wheels inward to access square panel in wheelwell.*Use a screwdriver to pry the tabs on the top of the panel towards you. Bottom will then lift out easily.*squeeze and turn the round cover to access the bulb.*blindly reach inside and feel around for 3 metal tabs holding in the bulb. Using a cellphone camera in video mode really helps to look inside, as you won't be able to see with your eyes unless removing the wheel entirely.*Bend at least 2 of the 3 tabs outward to release the bulb with connector. Be Careful and very gentle pulling the bulb out if you plan to keep it. It will damage easily.*try to remove the connection from the bulb. I found using a microfiber cloth over the bulb assembly and wiggling each pronged side while pulling works the best. They really didnt want to come off for me.*open new lights by pulling the sides of the box out. Use force, but not a lot.*Handle new bulb with super clean microfiber cloth while connecting. Dont touch with your bare hands.*Carefully try replacing the bulb without touching it to anything. Blindly, remember. It helps to look into your headlamp assembly, so you can make sure the bulb is centered.*bend all metal tabs back down to secure the bulb.*Check the lights to ensure they're both centered. Replace coverings if satisfied with your work.

My BMW came with OEM HID on low beams, but uses halogen on high beams. The bulbs I've used for the high beams, well, they didn't work like I needed and by that I mean they did not illuminate like they suppose to when you hit the high beams and they were useless to get oncoming rude drivers to lower their high beams.These took care of those problems, now I see better when high beams are needed and everyone else turns down their high beams when I flash them.

I thought these we're going to be brighter than the original ones my car came with they are not but they work and at least my car has 2 headlights working now.

Easy to install and much brighter than standard bulb, though not as white as I expected the color.

The color is not much whiter than that emitted by the standard bulbs, but the projection is much better (brighter over a longer distance). For those curious--Philips' name is stamped on the back of each bulb, and the appearance of the bulb is REMARKABLY similar to the Philips X-treme Vision H7.
