Way better than expected! /// see update
OK, so I have to rate this at 5 stars, but would like to give it more. Fast, sensitive capacitive screen. Much better than my old Super pad with resistive screen. It even comes with a stylus - specially designed for capacitive screens! The only drawback is that it does not store in the tablet. The iRulo is thin & light, has 2 micro USB ports, an 8 gig Internal SD card (not real clear in the description), and a slot for an external micro SD card. I popped the card out of my old tablet and into the new, and voilla, all my files ported right over.Facebook, which was really wonky on the old tablet, now works perfectly. Maybe too perfectly for my fat fingers, since I like to use the desktop version. Front & rear cameras super! And mini HDMI output. Running Jellybean on a dual core processor-very fast and responsive. I could have opted for a quad core, but I am cheap, Saved tons at $102 and free shipping! Also came with 2 micro USB adapters to standard USB male & female, so fret not, you can still plug iiPadthumb drive, keyboard, or mouse. The power supply is kind of lightweight, though, at only 1.5 amps, so it charges slowly. I'm using my old brick (2 amp) for faster charging. But on the plus side, the battery lasts almost 6 hours! The puny pin plug for power SUCKS --they break easily, so BE CAREFUL! Overall, I'm really happy! Move Over iPadUpdate // the CPU went wonky after 6 months, rendering the unit unusable. I liked this model so much, that I bought the same model. Everything's the same, except it is updated to Kit Kat 4.42, which does not support Flash. Very frustrating, can't watch Facebook videos!

BUYER BEWARE!!! 2 DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS and A FAILURE TO SERVICE ...
The product worked exactly as described and I have loved using it up until the point the AC Adaptor stopped working (just before Xmas). During the last use before it died the screen went black as well. You could tell the unit was still on because it was back lit, but nothing appeared on the screen and nothing worked. Working with iRulu on repair In Warranty as the unit is still inside of a year from the purchase date (July 2014). Will update post once they have provided a resolution.UPDATE 3/21/15 - After a week of back and forth emails with iRulu that led nowhere, iRulu responded back stating that the unit could be repaired at 60% of the cost of the purchase price and I would have to pay to send it in. After calculating all the costs it will be exactly (within $1) of what I paid for it to begin with with Prime Shipping. On a product that is less than a year old and has been well kept, it is my opinion that service from the manufacturer should extend further than this. I am changing my review on this product to 1 star as I beleive the more proper response would have been to apologize for the defect, and make the replacement repair process as simple and cost efficient to the consumer as possible as the issue is a defect of the tablet and not the consumers use of the product.I have another iRulu tablet I purchased in January that is also now defective but they are willing to service that one but at my cost for shipping. Depending on how that progresses I may scrap this whole project and turn to Amazon for assistance on both!UPDATE 3/25/15 - iRulu has flat out refused to replace their product with manufacture defects unless I pay a fee of (now) 50% of the retail purchase price. (Remember the previous rep stated 60% and now suddenly its 50%, how these percentages are calculated I cant say) iRulu's 'Limited' 1 Year warranty is ACTUALLY only for about 60 days total. Heres how it was emailed to me from the sales manager at iRulu:Limited One Year Warranty60 Day Money Back GuaranteeWithin 2 months afterdelivery -We will kindly accept returns or a request for refund for the following reasons:1. If the original buyer receives a defective item, we will issue a full refund or exchange of equal or lesser value.2. If the original buyer receives a wrong item, we will issue a refund or an exchange for the correct product.3. For non-defective items, the original buyer will pay shipping back to us for an exchange or a refund.*This warranty only applies within the United States; other fees may apply for international shipping. Limited one exchange allowed per order for defective products. After 2 months but within one year of the original delivery - The original buyer will be responsible for replacement fees or product repair costs due to any issues incurred.1. For a repair, 30% of the original price of the product will be charged as a processing fee.2. For exchange for a brand new product, 50% of the original cost of the product will be charged as a processing fee.*Only eligible to orders within the United States, extra fees may apply for international shipping. Limited one exchange allowed per order for defective products.SO as you can see there is actially nothing realted to '1 year' in there warranty. All the 'meat and potatoes', if you will, happens within the first 2 months. After that, iRulu wants you to practically purchase a new tablet in order to fulfill a warranty request. The problem is not with iRulu's need to enforce their warranty policy, its the policy itself. Dont call something '1 Year' limited or otherwise, then refuse to offer anything more than a 50% discount on repair. BUYER BEWARE. I am filing a Better Business Bureau complaint as the warranty title is misleading and the product obviously suffers from defect. The sad thing is I enjoyed this product while it worked for about 4 months, and I was willing to give iRulu the benefit of the doubt, but the true calling of a company is how well they SUPPORT their product when it doesn't work.

the product just got better and better
From the moment I opened this box, the product just got better and better. The power adapter (I have a hard time seeing which way to plug the adapter into the slot) is SO much easier to use. You don't have to keep flipping back and forth trying to figure out which way to put it... THIS ONE IS FANTASTIC.I did not have to download ANYTHING to watch Netflix. It was all there. There was already a screen protector on this device....and a protector on the back!I am so very pleased with this unit. With the functions of this device....I would have expected to pay HUNDREDS of dollars for this tablet, and in the past have paid much more money for devices that were much more difficult to use, and even slower.THANK YOU! I am VERY VERY VERY VERY pleased!

Very unstable device! Would not recommend....
I bought two of these tablets, one for each of my daughters - it became evident rather quickly that I had made a bad choice which at the time was most likely due to my own limited knowledge of what "a tablet" was designed to do and/or for what purpose it served (if any). Basically it was one of those situations where you try to make your kids happy even though you don't really know what the heck you're doing but if the "price is right" you somehow feel justified as you head towards the checkout lane. This method of attempting to gain favor in the eyes of your own technologically superior offspring has a tendency to incite feelings of frustration for all parties involved......therefore I must hold myself partly to blame although $80 x2 = crap is a fair way to summarize my personal experience with this product - I have a calculator from the 80's that functions more honorably...
