This product is fabulous. Makes tasty ice cream. Kiddos now favorite is coconut ice cream made using the vanilla recipe and adding shredded coconut. Easy to clean. Small enough to easily store. Makes the perfect amount of ice cream for one person in 20 to 25 mins. Less time than running to the grocery store for some. Simple enough for small children to enjoy making their own ice cream. Well priced. Churn a little longer for firmer ice cream. Even better if you put the finished product in the freezer for a bit though fun not necessary. I e purchased these for friends and they report they love them! Makes a great gift for those not easy to buy for and for all age groups.

Simply doesn’t work. Motor bust within 2mins

I am amazed at the texture of ice cream these mugs can produce! I’ve been using my Dad’s old ice cream maker (I think it’s a Cuisinart) for a while, and it can only get the ice cream to a loose soft-serve consistency. Maybe that’s just its age, but I didn’t think it was possible to do better than that. But when I made ice cream in one of these mugs, it reached the consistency of scooped ice cream! Still pleasantly soft, but solid, like Cold Stone ice cream after they work it on the stone. And it took less than 10 minutes! I didn’t fill the mug very full in order to achieve that consistency, but it was a good portion for me. The full mug would be enough for two servings, in my opinion.
