Ultra Lite Softside Expandable Spinner, Jade Black, Carry-on 21-Inch

This is the second Atlantic luggage in this size that I buy. I have the larger sized one plus this medium one already, but when my wife's suitcase died (another brand) we decided to get her one just like mine because these are so reliable. The wheels last for years of abuse as does the material. We would have liked to buy this in a different color for my wife, but the black one was the cheapest.The size is perfect for a two week trip. Everything you need fits perfectly, I'm surprised that none of the interior lining and pockets have torn. But even more surprising is the fact that the exterior looks almost good as new...just a little dustier when comparing my 3 year old one with my wife's brand new one. There are no rips, tears, scratches. Nothing. The wheels still spin perfectly on my old one. The handle still comes out easily and goes back in without a problem. I anticipate this new one lasting a very long time as well.As far as the weight: Wow, hard to believe that something so light is so sturdy! We've travelled extensively by air and by car (and even train once) and the suitcase still holds up perfectly. I've owned SwissGear as well as Samsonite, and this Atlantic luggage is still the solidest, lightest, longest lasting by far!Definitely buy it if you're considering getting a suitcase that will take you through big airports and keep your clothes and other valuables secure for many years to come!Edit: I also bought the light blue one in the larger size and after only two trips it looks very old and dirty... the blue is a dirt and stain magnet. BUY ONLY THE BLACK. The black ones look good as new even after many trips.

I bought this suitcase for my 82 year old mother, who was packing to come live with me, and had never owned her own suitcase. She was charmed by the pretty teal/royal blue design, and especially loved the spinner wheels that roll easily in any direction. This is the perfect medium sized suitcase (NOT carryon size). It has a telescoping tubular handle and two fabric side handles, multiple zipper pockets, it’s lightweight, and most importantly the zippers are good quality (no breaking open and spilling your contents). It worked perfectly on her trip, and I’m pleased with my purchase.

First impressions: The zippers works smoothly, the wheels roll smoothly and it's reasonably lightweight, so it did not disappoint. But the inside has a chemical smell. So I'm airing it out for a day on the porch.

I travel full-time and am always on the move from place to place. I've had this suitcase for almost a year now and have traveled with it at least 10 times checked-in on flights. I am surprised that the wheels are still in great condition after taking it across rocks, gravel, up stairs without lifting, and many different scenarios where I was afraid it would get damaged. It is large enough to accommodate quite a lot of stuff but not too big where taking it on a foreign local bus/coach becomes a problem. It also looks slick.For the price, it is much better than I expected!

This suitcase is very light. It was quite durable, had nice outside pockets, and the wheel configuration was great for pulling options. I unfortunately had to return it because I ended up not needing a 2nd suitcase after all, but I was truly impressed with it, and might just end up repurchasing it the next time I'm back in the US!

I really like this. It's a nice pretty bright color, and I found it easily in baggage claim. It is very light weight. The wheels move easily. It was well worth the money, but I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get. I will have this for years.

Sturdy and durable. Lovely colors and the spinners work great. It is my second Atlantic carry on and it is actually nicer than the first. I just hope I can get it through the ridiculous long haul international airlines strict size requirements. It is actually about a inch taller including the wheels and top handle, but it is so light weight. I was able to easily organize a weeks worth of clothing and sundries in it. I will update down the road.UPDATE: Just took it to Italy for three weeks from Mexico City. Planes, trains, cobblestone streets, rough taxi drivers. stairs galore, and rain. Moves like a dream, actually better than my older Atlantis carry on, which my husband used on this trip, and it is still in great condition. Strict carry on, long haul, budget airline accepted, plus British Airways, and Alitalia. It was weighed, but the size was always accepted. Just be sure to carry a scale in your personal item, and know each airlines weight restrictions. Underpack so you have room and weight to bring home goodies.

We used the suitcase for airline travel. The retractable handle got stuck after the first flight and basically rendered the suitcase unusable for the remainder of our trip.Upon returning home I tried to return the suitcase via Amazon. I was referred to the seller who informed me that - while they would take the suitcase back- I would have to pay for return shipping, plus a restocking fee and would only get 50% refunded.After asking again, I was then told to contact the manufacturer, which I did. The only way to contact them is through a form on their website, which then tells you to wait 5-7 days for someone to reach out to you.I submitted the form over a week ago and nothing. Now of course my return window is getting ready to close.So it’s either pay for shipping to seller and hope for a 50% refund for a suitcase that broke after a 1 hour travel, OR hope the manufacturer will eventually reach out to me while my return window is still open.Nice-looking suitcase, but broken after one use, and DEFINITELY not worth the hassle that came with this return. Very disappointed in product, seller, manufacturer and warranty.
