J. Adams Roxy Wedge Booties - Casual Lace Up Low Heel Closed Toe Ankle Boot

I don't normally write reviews unless I feel strongly about an item. I've had these boots for a few months now and I absolutely love them! I'm pretty much a true size 8 with my shoes and this boot was no exception the size 8 fit perfectly with a little room for thicker socks if necessary. The boots are very comfortable. I've spent many hours holiday shopping (walking and standing in lines) in these boots with no discomfort and I mean no discomfort not even a little bit. The boot is adorable - I love the look of them with my jeans. Very rarely does great look and comfort come together in a boot/shoe but is does in this case hence the 5 star rating.

I have been extremely happy with these shoes. So much so I have purchased them in multiple colors. I’ve purchased the black ones three times over the years. I wear them everyday to work as they are TSA checkpoint (airport) friendly. They are my most stylish comfortable shoes to walk in all day. The fit is on point and true to size. Other brands I’ve not been as lucky with. Please bring these shoes back in black size 6!! I need to restock as I’ve worn out my tread.

I really like the way these shoes look on. The quality seems to be good, not exceptional, but good for the price point. Much more comfortable to wear all day than expected (I usually wear flats). My biggest issue is that the tread on the bottom is weird. Under the ball of your feet, it is almost like felt rather than rubber which means they feel like they could be slick. I have worn them several times and have not had an issue... just seems a bit odd. If you were walking on linoleum or hard wood all day you may have more of an issue - I mainly am walking on carpet. Overall, I kept these because I thought they were really cute and comfy!

These are cute booties and pretty comfortable. I had to had a foot pad which is not unusual for me bc my feet are narrow so that wasn’t unexpected. Still wore them all day Sunday and was on my feet the majority of the day. Really they were pretty comfortable for such a cheap price.

Love these! I am 5'9" and am typically scared of wearing high heels or anything with a wedge, due to practicalities (I have 3 small children and am usually chasing them!) and just due to the fact that I am so tall, I don't usually like being much taller. These are extremely comfortable though.... I usually wear heels maybe once a year, for only a few hours (either at a wedding, or some sort of formal occasion.) These booties have helped me go outside my comfort zone and I am surprised how often I wear these now. I wear them on dates with my husband, which makes me feel a little bit more put together than my typical go-to of flats. I can wear these when out with my kids (obviously, not in places where any running is involved, like at a playground) but I will wear to the library, to the grocery store, to an indoor playdate. Lastly, I recommend wearing with some skinny jeans that hit your ankle, or right above. Pairing these with pants that go much longer, or jeans that are boot cut, may look odd.

Don't get me wrong, these shoes are absolutely gorgeously adorable and arrived in a timely manner. Packaging was also outstanding and so was the little "Thank You" note that came inside the box. So there's nothing wrong with that aspect of the bargain. However I am limiting myself to rating the actual shoe/bootie. The material is rock hard and stiff and actually feels as if they simply slapped some cute suede like fabric over a cardboard box. Wearing them is downright painful as the overly stiff boot shaft is literally cutting into my ankles with every move (and I wore them 15 feet to walk from the front door to my computer to write this review). Wearing them any longer might just draw blood. They are not tight so there is plenty of comfortable wiggle room but for me this is just a big NOPE. I need comfortable shoes that are sturdy yet comfortable and these are definitely not it.

I like this shoe, it is comfortable and cute. The color was a lot lighter than I would have liked, I ordered the charcoal grey and the color that came was more of a mouse grey. I kept them because they are still cute and fit well.
