Adequate performance
This is premium quality Hid kit and it serves the purpose very well. It is meant to work well with projector headlights.it says up to 6000k which means it has to get to that operating temperature to achieve it.

The second set works great. Warm up times are minimal if wired properly
The first set I bought turned out to be a dud and wouldn't fire up, had to return it for a replacement. The second set works great. Warm up times are minimal if wired properly. Now for the caveat - These are, in all probability, not genuine.Reasons:1: It's not mentioned anywhere on any of their websites.2: The manual has all the telltale 'chinese run of the mill' product signs (typos, weird grammar etc.)3: The egg carton type packing on the inside is extremely cheap and the ballast, bulbs etc. are simply press fit into it. No real packing as such.4: Higher rated fuses are provided in box. No reputed company would ever do this as the fuse is there to prevent damage to the vehicle. A higher rated fuse will subject the wires to amps they're not rated to handle which will inevitably result in excess heat. In worse case scenarios this will cause the insulation around the wire to melt and may even cause a fire. DO NOT USE THE HIGHER RATED FUSE. Instead, invest in a relay harness. This will also reduce warm up times considerably and help the ballast run cooler.5: The first product I received had the wrong plugs with incorrect polarity. This meant that the positive terminal is connected to the negative end. While this is an AC kit, the input is always DC and the reversed polarity will not let the kit fire up.6: The bulb was misaligned in the base.I decided to try my luck with a replacement and it worked out well for me. Everything works just as it should. And at just twice the cost of a usual chinese kit, this seems worth it. Especially if the warranty is honest. I bought it for ~INR6900. Not worth the 11k MRP.So, to sum it up, there is a very high probability that this is counterfeit or designed for sale in third world countries. However, the warranty and it being sold by Cloudtail does instill some confidence. The ballast also appears to be built to a higher standard than the usual fare. The bulbs, cables etc. are the same as the cheaper generic ones.Buy it with the right expectations and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect German Osram quality here, cause it's simply not there.I have Morimotos for my fog and they are at least twice the quality. Though the brightness and warm up times are similar.

Exactly similar output and color to the osram eco hid kit ,which is a lot cheaper.dont buy these.
Nothing special about it.Exactly same output same bulbs, same wires same everything. The osram eco kit i baught earlier is totally similar to this gen 2.The only diffrence is in the ballast looks,in eco kit they r painted black whereas in this they r of grey color.Output:I have both the kits installed on my Outlander and let me tell u ,no one can tell from the light which ones are the osram's eco kit and which ones are gen2.Output is exactly similar in terms of color (6000k)and in brightness too.Bulbs ,wires ,connectors are exacly similar too ,thus exactly same output as of eco kit.Totally not worth spending 3000 extra.
