I had an LED light earlier of the same size and design, but it drove me crazy. It required using the very weak remote control that came with it, making it a royal pain to turn it on and off. Trying to control it with a dusk/dawn sensor made it come on in a crazy flashing light show multicolor disco strobe mode, which I considered hideous. This present light supplies what I've wanted all along: a white 12V fixture of great brightness with no fiddly remote. I've connected it to my dusk/dawn sensor and it cuts on in the evening and off in the morning. No gimmicky colors (who wants red pool water??) and no automatic strobe shows. Just pleasant illumination with low power draw. I also didn't want a niche, as is required by the power-hungry halogen lights that the pool vendors are pushing. This LED light hangs down from 1" wide stainless steel bar (also from Amazon) that's attached to the rim of the pool. No need to penetrate the liner and cause possible leaks. Hint: don't use aluminum. The pool chemicals turn it into a corroded mess. Use stainless steel.

amazon and not CNBrighter made the mistake of sending a used lamp. they refunded a discount promptly. the light is a simple cool white without all the remotes and colors. that's what i want for my koi pond. red, green, or blue koi?? no thanks. great light.

I was looking for a light that I can install without doing holes in the pool, or a big change, this light was great, easy to install, so far so good, we have 2 weeks with the light, and it is bright enough for a small pool. Just remember that you can only turn on the light for a few sec outside the water, to turn it on it need to be under the water

I am happy no remote control and no RGB colors. Strong light. Low voltage. Very happy. Update after 2 years: only 8 out of 19 LED inside lights are still working. Light capacity dropped for 60% or more. Was not used over winter at all, only occasionally over summer. Probably soon should be replaced.

Bright and easy to install.

The light is great; very bright! Unfortunately it stopped working after a few months, but the manufacturer has a great warranty and replaced it no questions asked.
