a sit strap is missing, cannot use without
I ordered this Kayak and was exited to use it, after putting it together I noticed that a sit strap was missing. You can see on the picture a piece of white rope I used to hold the sit up instead of proper strap. Contacted customer service and was asked of prove of purchase etc. It has been now about 3 weeks after they were 1st notified about missing sit strap, still has not gotten a new one. Crappy customer service. You will be lucky to get your kayak with all its parts, if not, you will be stuck unable to use it for looks like a long, long time, if ever. Thinking of sending it all back now.

Great kayak for the price. Read full review.
Kayaks these days are evolved into small bass boats. They weigh a ton with everything, but a kitchen sink. After my foot injury, I was looking for a light weight propulsion kayak. I saw a brief video of the Riot Mako from Icast 2018, but couldn't get all the answers. I took a leap of faith and purchased the kayak. Overall I am very happy with the kayak. I am listing some of the items that can be improved upon.Pros:1) Weight was the number one priority for me after my foot injury. I wanted a pedal kayak that didn't weigh a ton so I could van top is easily.2) Price - Can't beat the price point for a pedal kayak3) Very stable, even with a kid or small adult sitting in the front.4) stand up assist - comes in handy5) AMAZON customer service is the best.!!!!!!!Things that can be improved:1) Seat system - needs some work, bolts that lock the seat on the tracks fall off easily. Putting and taking off the seat could get cumbersome.2) No way to mount a transducer, unless you install it in the hull. Angler version???3) Might not work for people taller than six feet. I have the seat pushed all the wayback to use the pedal comfortably.4) Built in rod holders can get a lot of splash due to kayaks low profile.5) Hatches don't allow much storage. They are pretty much useless for me.6) Turn radius and tracking are not the best.7) packing can be improved on.8) Plastic feels softer and flexible than my previous kayaks, but once again I guess that makes the kayak lighter and the top reason for my purchase.I will be making some videos on youtube. Look for "saltloony" I will cover the fish finder and LED install, complete on the water review and my setup.Tight lines,SALTLOONY
