Broan-NuTone Ductless Range Hood with Lights, 30-Inch, White, 413001

I was skeptical about making this purchase, but I did anyway because the price point was just right and it’s just what I was looking for. Installation was easy for a DIY project.The fan speed is great and makes minimal noise on the high or low setting..overall it’s a great product and I would recommend this item.

We replaced the stove fan we had. It was old and I had recently ruined the filter with a pan fire. This fit perfectly, looks nice and clean. Light and fan work perfectly. I didn’t hear much cussing while my husband put it up so it must be easy to put up because he is not a handyman. I am very pleased. I thought it was priced fair. Arrived on time. I would recommend.

The range hood looks A+. It has clean lines, simple switches, and works divine. Easly cleaned, and not noisy? I am very pleased.

Ok. This is an economy unit. I knew that going in so I can't really complain. My old unit wasn't really that old but those "soft touch" buttons on it went bad and either couldn't be turned on or couldn't be turned off. So, I tried Lowes. Nothing under 200 bucks. I ordered this. It's not as finished and nice as what I had. Underneath is unpolished so any grease or buildup won't be easy to get off like my old one which had the filters and lights in a polished housing. The fan is very weak and only has one filter, not two like my other one with a strong fan. I do like that you can use any light bulb. I used a bright led that looks like 100 watts but only uses 6 watts/doesn'tget hot. My old unit used two, floodlight style bulbs that fit into recessed housing and they were expensive to replace. So it's cheap but not bad looking. The black looks fine with my black and stainless appliances.. My only real complaint as that it was kind of a b*tch to install. O probably would have given it 5 stars for being exactly as advertised- an economical, basic hood.l if not for the painful installation. Some reviewers said it was an easy, one person job. It took me and my Dad a good two hours and a lot of huffing and puffing because some of the pre-driiled holes and the fitting over the wiring were not properly aligned so we had to push and pull a good bit to make it work. My dad practically built his own house and has wired so much stuff in my house and his that I can't count. So trust me, something was a bit off with this unit. It shouldn't have been this hard. But once we got it installed, I was relieved and overall satisfied to have something that works and didn't break the bank. My advice would be to get it if you want a basic unit to save money...but be prepared to cuss and get help if you are unlucky enough to get one where pieces don't line up.

I’ve been using this range hood for quite a while, and it has been very reliable. It still works great, the fan does a good job helping remove cooking odors and steam, and I haven’t had any problems with it. It has held up well with regular use and has never stopped working. I also like the simple design because it looks clean in my kitchen and is easy to wipe down. If you’re looking for a dependable range hood that does its job without any issues, this has been a great choice for me.

We purchased this to replace a similar one that had become very old and rusted. The new one is absolutely perfect and works terrifically well. No complaints.

Awesome item. Easy to install. Uses a normal light bulb, so super easy to replace. Very clean looking. I edited this review after hearing back from customer service about the original issue (see below) their suggestions worked and removed the residue from the protective plastic sticker that was on the hood. This item arrived with a protective blue plastic peel off piece across the front of the hood. After installation, I removed this blue plastic to find that there are marks all over the front of the hood now from that blue plastic. I tried first cleaning them off with just a soft rag and water nothing. Then I tried Windex that didn’t work. So I tried a soft drag with some Dr. Bronner‘s soap and that had no effect either. Otherwise it is a lovely hood. Not sure how to get rid of these ugly marks. I took a photo, but it’s very hard to photograph.
