Quality materials, easy install
This is the first tonneau cover I've owned, and I did quite a bit of research before purchasing it. For the price, protection, and look that I wanted, the Bakflip was the winner.First of all, I was really impressed with the care that they take in packing the cover in the shipping box. Everything came out looking great, despite the fact that the delivery company had beat up the outside of the box. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of materials used for this cover. The clamps for the rails were heavy duty, and everything else felt like it had been machined with precision.Installation was pretty easy to do. If you've got an ounce of handiness in you at all, you should be able to do it yourself. Just pay attention to your alignment to make sure the seals are making contact with the bed rails. From my experience, anyone who has had leaking issues with this probably didn't take the extra two minutes to make sure everything was flush and lined up properly. The only frustration I had during the install was with the two bolts that hold it down near the cab. The bolts just barely make it through, and it's not possible to reach around to the top to hold it down by yourself. When you try to screw on the star nut after placing the rubber washer, steal washer, and lock washer ahead of it, it just pushes the bolt up and you can't get it to catch. I finally used the washer to push the bolt against the metal to the side to stabilize it enough to get the star nut to catch. The installation instructions that come with the cover aren't that great, but the company has great videos on YouTube that walk you through everything step by step. I didn't even use the instruction manual, I just watched the video. All in all, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you choose to go with this cover and take the time to install it with care.

Repeat of a Super Product
This is my second BakFlip truck bed cover. The first one was on a 2010 GMC Serria. This new one is on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country. I ordered this one because of the success of the first one. Both trucks have locking tailgates, so this cover provides some security for your items. This one is a G2 (I guess generation 2), and has cleaner, better designed rails. I had one spot about 4 inches long at the tailgate where the rubber gasket was not installed neatly, which is noticeable and distracting when looking at it from the side.Installation was straight forward, easy, and took about 40 minutes. Although the instructions didn't mention the shims for this model, I understood what they were for and realized they were not needed on this installation. After that, it was simple. If you get worried that one side of the tailgate end of the cover doesn't latch, it's just takes a wiggle of the cover to line it up.The cover looks great. It fits well with the High Country model (Chevrolet's equivalent of a Ford King Ranch or GMC Denali. Although I have mentioned a few things, I still give this cover 5 stars. It is just great. I have and do recommend this cover to my friends.

Not a bad cover if you can get it on sale.
Edit: Coming up on 3 years. Still working out well. Definitely worth the money. No leaks, no problems.Got this cover while it was on sale and saved about 100 bucks, so that was nice. Build quality is solid and packaging was adequate, though the box was ripped up a little. One of the "seams" shifted over about 1.5 to 2 inches, which caused the weather seal to get messed up pretty badly. Luckily, I was able to shift it back over and tuck some of the insulation back in. To be fair, I may have caused this when moving the cover from packaging to my work area to install. As BAK Industries mentions on their website and install videos, it's not 100% waterproof, but it does a GREAT job keeping water out, even in hard storms. Only bad thing so far is that the seals near the tailgate corners (both sides) came unglued the first day. I'll post a picture of that later. Doesn't seem to effect waterproofing too much.

2016 Silverado with Bedliner: Do your homework.
I have a 2016 Silverado Crew-Cab Short-bed with a bed liner. This cover will not work (at least not with the factory installed liner that wraps over the front of the bed). This cover (BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover – Amazon model 26120) looks nice, appears to fit nicely, but once the rain starts...forget it. The quality and appearance are good and it only took me about 45 minutes to install myself (I highly recommend watching the YouTube installation videos more than once). All information indicated that this would work with a bed liner. However, it does not (at least not with the Chevy factory liner). I even tried reinstalling it to get a good fit - not possible. The biggest problem is where the cover meets the front of the bed (where the bedliner wraps over the top of the bed). It doesn't appear to be possible to get a good seal between the cover and the bed liner. Also, I did discover that apparently the 2016 Silverado tailgate “fit” was slightly redesigned from 2015 to incorporate small "gaps" on the sides of the tailgate (between the tailgate and truck bed wall) to help with fuel economy? If you have a 2016 Silverado, you can definitely see through the sides of the tailgate into the bed even with the cover closed (try it). This issue is not unique to the this particular brand of cover. It's unique to the new Silverado. It's about a 1/2-inch gap. In any event, I contacted the dealer and they don’t make a 2016 Silverado Tailgate Seal. I then contacted a reputable local “custom truck business” and they told me what the issue was. So, I ordered the "TruXedo 1703206 TruxSeal Universal Tailgate Seal" from Amazon to seal around the tailgate. It took about 10 minutes to install. It helped to stop the water at the back, but the cover still leaked alot at the front. So, I returned the cover. I'm considering other options. One note: the cover did not ship with shims as advertised. However, they weren't necessary for the Silverado, so it wasn't an issue. However, be sure to check all your parts in the box if you order this cover. I hope this helps.
