All locks came keyed the same, worked great in my US General series 3 tool boxes and my new Matco box. Installed and works great.

Not a drop in replacement for my older Snap-On IWC-55 wall safe. The new lock cam square shaft is smaller than the original Snap-On so the shaft rotates in the original Snap-On cam lock plate. Can easily modify by using the new lock supplied cam and putting sheet metal screw through outside hole into the large original cam lock plate. Or with a little more effort could make a washer to adapt smaller square shaft to larger original.

I have a Harbor Freight US General toolbox that the lock somehow got jammed in a position between locked and unlocked and you could not put the key in to turn it because the slots wouldn't align. I ordered a replacement lock only to find out it wouldn't work because the two slots were positioned at 90°, my box needed a lock that would turn 180° to unlock. I found one that worked but it only had 1 slot so you couldn't remove the key unless it was in the locked position. This lock did the trick, 2 slots at 180° allowing the key to be removed when the box is in either the locked or unlocked positions. Installing it was fairly easy once I got the rod to line up just right. The only issue I had was tightening the locknut, my old lock was held in place with a spring clip, this one has a nut that is hard to turn when the rod is in place because you can't use a socket. You could tighten it with a socket before connecting the rod, but when you do that, you cant get the rod to go through the hole without having some wiggle room. There's also not much room for a wrench to turn the nut. I got it hand tight then used a punch and hammer to turn it until it was snug.

I have a Series 1 56" U.S. General (Harbor Freight) bottom and top box, with an 18" cabinet on one side, and a locker on the other. And I also have a Series 2 27" top and bottom. All said, there are 8 locks with 6 different keys. Four are 180* and the other four are 90*. So, I bought 2 sets (2 locks per set). One set was the 180* and the other was the 90*. All lock sets are keyed the same, so with all 8 locks, I only need one key. Not too sure if all the locks they sell use the same key?!?!?! I needed to modify the cam on two locks. Nothing too crazy. Also, needed to open a two of the lock holes just a smidge. Again, no big deal. The others used the original cam for the box. And, if I need too, I can still reinstall the old locks again. They don't feel as 'high quality' as the locks they replaced. The key kind of wiggles in the lock. But they turn just fine. If I need to drill one out, it's not going to cost me $60 like a Kennedy lock will!

I'm only giving this three stars because it's a two pack and one of them the shaft stripped out and wouldn't tighten pretty quickly. Also the overall size is a little off and I had to file out the hole from the existing lock to get this to fit. Overall it does what I need and replaces the 90° lock in a lock box I keep in my truck. It is an inexpensive fix that will last long enough for me to buy a more permanent new lock box. I was going to use the other lock that stripped for a different vehicle's lock box so I could have the same key for both vehicles.

I really needed all of my locks to be keyed the same, but the problem was I needed locks to turn 90° and also a set of locks that turned 180°, Admiral States on their listing that if you order multiple locks on the same order they will key them the same. I was very skeptical at first but figured no big deal I'll order them and if they aren't keyed the same I'll just return them. Well Admiral came through! They did a great job I received both of the sets, 90° locks as well as the 180° locks and all the locks were keyed the same!! Admiral is awesome I highly highly recommend! Little small

Used to replaced the defective key locks for the rifle cabinet and fits perfectly without modification. Comes in a package of two which is half the price of one of the original. Delivery was ahead of time expected.

Below average quality at best. I ordered a set a while back, it was missing a nut for installation. Then, I ordered a second set not too long ago, I barely manage to install it without stripping the tread ( I use to be a automotive technician...). After that, I realised that I could open both ordered sets with the same key. I'm not very impressed.

Easy to install. Ordered wrong size. And would be nice if they had dust caps
