Loma Lux Homeopathic Medicine, Eczema, 100 Tablet Bottle

I developed hand eczema in my late 30's and suffered with it for four years. My flare-ups would range from mild to sever - almost debilitating. I tried just about every treatment available, prescription, non-prescription, home remedy, you name it. Some would work for a while, like hydrocortisone creams and Protopic, but eventually I would build up a tolerance and they were ineffective. When I first tried Loma Lux I was skeptical, but desperate, within a week I noticed my eczema clearing up, but I didn't get too excited since my eczema is cyclical. Then I ran out of the one bottle I had purchased and sure enough within a week or so, my eczema came back. At that point I purchased more, and have pretty much been using this product steady for the past year and one-half. While on Loma Lux, my eczema ranges from non-existent to mild and never real itchy. Also, I do moisturize my hands throughout the day with a heavy cream. When I do get a flare-up my eczema is very responsive to medications; I just dig out an old tube of Protopic or hydrocortisone and usually within a day or two the flare-up is either gone or under control. Loma Lux has not cured me of eczema, but it keeps it under control and boosts the efficacy of other treatments/medications. Currently I take about half of the recommended dose, but will increase the dose when needed (which is rare). Overall I am very satisfied with this product; if you are desperate, like I was, I would recommend giving it a shot.

I just ordered my 3rd bottle. I swear if they ever stop making this, I'm going to cry. Now to be fair I don't have true eczema. I have what my dermatologist diagnosed as winter eczema. I get horrible red skin that is extremely aggravated by heat that is forced hot air. I never had a winter eczema problem when I lived in a house with radiant heat. But forced hot air makes my skin itch like I have poison ivy.I ordered the Loma Lux pills and noticed that my rosacea wasn't bothering me either. I tried it a few more times and sure enough, when I feel the redness and heat on my cheeks coming on (rosacea people know what I'm talking about) I take 2 or 3 of these pills and within about 20 minutes, my skin calms down. For my rosacea I tried the expensive cream and then my dermatologist had me on these pills, Clonidine but they were like Benedryl and made me tired. The Loma Lux pills I can take any time. No tiredness at all.So these pills are two for one. Helping my winter eczema and as a bonus, my rosacea.

i purchased this because i have 2 problems. 1. rashes(hives) and 2. eczema. after using it for 2-3 weeks i noticed that it was doing nothing and i was suppose to have notice less itching on the first time i have taken it. so i decided to test drive this product. i took 2 pills and i placed each pill in a cup of water, one cup with hot water and the other with cold water. it turns out that the pill is dissolved in 40-50min in hot water and more than 1hr. 30min in cold water. as a result, the ingredients of this product were not being released during this time. it was like forming in different shapes like if the pill would come apart but you would see this in one hour. after i acknowledge this, i just threw the remaining in the garbage. taking this was like taking nothing..... dont waste your money on this. and btw if you read the people who rated this 4-5 stars you'll notice that they have only rated 1-10 items on amazon and have no proof of purchase under their name. which is why i bought it in the first place. sometimes we take risks because of our desperate needs but only one will suffer so beware.

I had high hopes for this medicine. i have tried everything from steriods to change in diet to this and this worked just as well as my other options, not good! i have used it for about 3 weeks with absolutely NO change what so ever. I am very disappointed

My eczema did clear up, however I was taking some other things as well so I am not sure if this was the reason. I am happy though since my skin is clearing up, now that the bottle is finished if the eczema comes back I will know its because of the pills.

I read quite a few reviews on this product and quite frankly I was skeptical at best. But I thought I would give this an honest try. I'll have to say that after using this product for almost two bottles worth I am going to reorder two more bottles and keep using it. I've noticed less breakouts. In fact I haven't had one since a week after I started taking it. I take 4 tabs a day and have had what is described as mild outbreaks. The areas where there are a few spots seem to be healing faster. I would recommend this product and more research into as why this seems to work for some and not others. I feel that the extra effort to keep taking the product is worth the while.

For months, every 3 or 4 weeks I would have an eczema flare up. It would rage over 90% of my skin. I couldn't sleep, I stopped eating. I tried everything. My dermatologist told me I would just have to learn to live with it. Then I found this on a drugstore shelf and bought it, figuring I had nothing to lose. Within a couple of days, the symptoms were significantly relieved. Within two weeks, you would never know I had eczema. I tried stopping the Loma Lux, just to see whether it was a simply a coincidence that my eczema went away when I started taking it. Within a couple of days, the eczema came back. I started taking Loma Lux again, the eczema went away, and I've been taking it ever since. That was 9 years ago. My sister recently started suffering from eczema, she started taking Loma Lux, and had results similar to mine. This may not work for everyone. Then again, no medication works for everyone. But it has worked for me and for everyone to whom I've recommended it. What have you got to lose?

It's helpful if you don't have insurance, to be sure, but I think it's best to supplement this with Fish Oil pills and vitamins. It really does take at least three months to start to work, but it's definitely better than nothing. Don't take more than 3 a day, for sure. I'm glad it doesn't make me drowsy like other meds used to, but it's definitely not a cure.
